Handmade Carved Domed Round Wooden Maamoul Mold Press (Middle Eastern Tradition Dates, Pistachio & Walnut Cookie Mould) 2-1/4" Diameter x 3/4" Depth

I got a random itch to make Maamoul. I haven’t made this since I was a child with my grandmother. It is my mother‘s favorite dessert. I did not want to get the plastic molds because I also wanted to be able to use these for decoration. They work perfectly and they look great hanging on my wall.

Maamoul - just delicious dessert. These molds are just a wonderful add to the kitchen. We made the maamoul filled with pistachios. The results were just outstanding. The molds arrived on time and are solid wood. Easy to use and clean. I would highly recommend these. Thank you

So size is great. Depth is great. Design needs additional sanding. Then as I was sanding, some of the wood started flaking off. It will work temporarily for a couple of recipes of maamoul, but it isn't high quality and I wouldn't expect it to last.

I made my first maamoul cookies ever, and I didn't quite know what to expect from the mold...as in how hard it would be to use. But it worked a great! A gentle tap and a perfect cookie fell right out!

Did not like the way it is sanded. Very badly finished. Dough sticks to the wood

The size is perfect. Easy to use

This is absolute junk. It is pure splinters inside. You could never cook with this, ever. You would eat a cookie full of splinters
