Sunex 213zm 1/2-Inch Drive 13-mm 12-Point Impact Socket

Replacing front axle u joints on a 98 Jeep Cherokee. This is the needed tool. Impact grade, short, good fit. It’s what was needed and appears to be of good quality.

I was quite pleased with this socket overall. For the home mechanic this will work great. I bought it to use at work for semi tractor U-joint bolts and it lasted about two months with frequent heavy use on my Thor impact. Given the nature of 12 point driveline bolts I was actually pleased it lasted as long as it did. For reference, the SnapOn socket I got to replace it only lasted 5 months so for the price the Sunex did well! For the home mechanic I recommend it. For professional use it will get you by for a while but it's really not designed for it.

Worked for Jeep wrangler JK wheel bearing bolts.

Socket worked and didn't break using impact.

Took a little wear on first use but was specifically bought for a very stuck bolt. Worked perfectly though after hours of struggle for no reason trying to use a 6 point.

This is a must have when changing wheel hubs on a jeep. You will never break those bolts loose with a 3/8 drive and you will probably break a non impact 1/2 drive

If you want a solid socket for those wheel hub bolts, get this brand. It is heavy and solid. No shiny stuff here. It certainly can take the beating from an impact wrench.I do my maintenance and impact sockets are sometimes necessary.I have other Sunex tools as well.

Does it where and when needed. Sturdy but compact.

I bought these for Meritor Drivelines. Good quality socket and withstands the torque I use (600-700 ft/lbs)

Quality socket, when you need it you need it. Have had to use a swing press to jam the socket on a couple rusty bolts and it didn't complain
