I don't slap on makeup everyday - but when I do wear it, applying it is an extension of creativity to me. I enjoy playing with all the tools and colors, taking my time to select the look I want and applying the products. It's fun to take my time and experiment!This a great selection of makeup brushes! I love the variety and can always find one that fits what I'm looking for. I wish the brushes were labeled, but that's not a big deal - I just use them based on my needs (which is most likely totally different than the brush's intended use). As a woman who likes makeup - but is not a makeup "guru" - I have no clue what some of these brushes are supposed to do. Someone very into makeup probably does - I just know there is a wonderful variety and there isn't one brush I don't like. They are comfortable to hold in your hand and work well. They pick up makeup easily, and deposit it on your face well. What I mean is that you don't lose much makeup to the brush. When I use a brush to pick up eye shadow, the eye shadow goes on well and doesn't stick to the bristles. I never thought I would use this many brushes - and now I can't part with any of them. I like having so many to choose from - and I love the great quality you get for such a low price. They are soft and have just the right "spring" - and the firm brushes are amazing for applying a thin line of eye shadow as eyeliner, or using for your brows. Anytime I've ever tried to use a powder to fill in my brows I've been left disappointed...and usually I have the dark powder under my eyes to prove my inability to properly apply it. Little did I know it really has to do with the brush you use - I can finally use my eyebrow powder now that I have these brushes! The firm, slanted brush I like to use is great at putting the powder ON my brows - and keeping it there. It's opened a whole new world to me! I should probably mention that I usually wear a natural look - but there are times I want a much more dramatic effect (for night, photos, etc)...and these brushes help me to perfect either look. I now need to order my teenage daughter a set so she will stop stealing mine!

These are wonderful quality brushes for the price! I was replacing some expensive BareMinerals brushes, and I didn't have a lot of money to spend on them. These work great for your smaller brush jobs-eye shadow, eye liner, and concealer. I don't use liquid foundation, so I can't speak to how well that brush works, but I can speak for the quality. I was afraid since these were so cheap that I was going to end up with crappy brushes. That's not the case at all. The quality is comparable to profession quality brushes I've used in the past. There's a large variety of brushes with some repeats. All in all, these are great quality.

You get a lot of bang for your buck with this set. The brush handles are not cheaply made, they feel pretty durable. You get a huge variety of different brush tips and there are a few that are double sided. The small liner brush is the perfect size for applying eyeliner. There are angled brushes, foam applicator brushes, and everything in between. The bristles are soft and apply shadow evenly and easily blend colors. I only use powdered makeup, but these could be used for liquid or powder. I am throwing out my old cheap brushes and replacing them with these. *I received this product at a reduced price or free in exchange for my honest opinion*

I needed a lot more smaller brushes, so these were the perfect purchase for me. Yes there are a lot of repeats, but I liked that because I could use them for different purposes. The ones that's are repeats and I don't need to use are put away in case I'll need them later, but I still use about 80% of the brushes. You can't really complain that there are repeats because for usually you'd only get 1 brush for this price instead of 20.

The quality of the brushes are definitely what you pay for. Their horrible, they don't pick up any product & their not even close when it come to doing the job their supposed to do.
