Leg piece too narrow, 1/4” gap
What a mess. I can’t think of a solution. One of the leg pieces is appreciably more narrow, so it will be unstable no matter what. I was going to put my herb plants on top of it, but somehow I’ll have to return it.

chipped & damaged wood
This bench came damaged with some wood splintering off and chips. It was easy to assemble, but didn't feel the most stable. Will be using this as a storage bench of sorts
