BASS1400

I purchased this sub/amp to fill in the missing bass from my stock stereo (pioneer stock head unit in a 2013 Scion IQ) I was able to fit this under the driver side seat without any interference while sliding the seat forward, My head unit has an output rca jack for subwoofers already and seperate adjustments as well so it worked out great as far as connecting goes. Take note that this is not a competition type setup, If you are looking to shake your neighbors windows it's not going to happen, But it is loud enough for people to notice that there is something not factory about your stereo system. The price was excellent as well!

Bought this item when my car was in the shop for body repairs since last (2016) year. Car just came out a few days ago and had the whole boss system i ordered installed yesterday. Subwoofer/Amplifier does not work...light indicator says it on but nothing coming from it. Speakers sound weak and distorted.

Nice sound. Not a window rattling sub if that's what u want. But it's a great addition if u want to add some nice bass to ur truck. Put under back seat of a gmc crew cab.

bought this knowing perfectly well that people had said it has a short lifespan. i expect it to work for a minimum of a year (it is now 12/3/13) and from what ive seen thus far, its been a month or two since ive gotten it, itll last far longer than a year, i push it to its limits daily and it shows no sign of wanting to give up, buy at your own risk, you may get a bad one, you may get a good one as i did, either way it works amazing for it's size, not as much as a regular amplified system, but much better than you would expect out of a sub its size.

Worked great while it actually worked. Had it from August 2015 till december 2015 when the plugs snapped off inside the plug holes. Tried to take it apart and get them out and it totally fell apart. Biggest P.O.S. design of a speaker I've ever seen. Totally NOT user friendly. So yeah if you don't mind risking it breaking, buy it. But if you think you can get something that you can fix if it breaks, stay way away from this brand.

It did not fit underneath either of my seats in my Corolla 2012. I had to put it in the trunk, and from the trunk, you can't really hear much of the low end it produces. I feel like I would have heard this a bit better if it was in the cabin but unfortunately it did not fit. Despite the reviews, the sub turned on and functioned as it should have though. I honestly feel like this product would be great for a smart car or just a really small car.

Got this 10" 1400 watt sub half a year ago for my 1989 ford f150 single cab fits perfect behind the seat with room. I wired it up with the boss 4 gauge kit I recommend using the 4 guage kit so nothing burns up. Has a lot of base for a single cab truck with front and rear speakers if I turn it up a lot and play a base heavy song its rattles my mirrors a little. Never had a problem with it other the my crimping connection to the battery is a little loose which is my fault. Other than that works perfect for me. It has gotten really hot during summer never shut off though. Great subwoofer! ( I have a metal gaurd of some sort that is behind my seat came with my truck it fit the sub like it was made for it )

i installed this sub in a 2001 nissan frontier standard cab, yes rare truck, set at half power and set my EQ for moderate bass. this speaker has great punch for my small cab and sounds clean. rattles the outside steel of the truck. very easy to install. great product

Habe diesen Subwoofer gewählt, weil mir der Bass vom Serienradio eines Audi A4 8e viel zu wenig war. (Echt schwache Leistung liebe Ingenieure bei Audi. Das machen selbst billige Automarken besser.) Habe den BOSS-Subwoofer mit dem High-Eingang am original Subwoofer im Kofferraum angeschlossen und an der linken Seitenwand montiert. Jetzt kann ich den Pegel des BOSS mit dem Subwoofer-Regler des Radios bedienen. Zum Sound: Der ist echt der Hammer. Wenn man bedenkt das in diesem Gehäuse ein Lautsprecher und ein Verstärker untergebracht sind und dann trotzdem noch so ein tiefer Bass rauskommt. Schon wirklich erstaunlich wieviel Druck dieses Gerät macht. Bin absolut zufrieden mit dem BOSS Bass 1400 und kann ihn nur weiter empfehlen. Hat den echt dünnen Sound des Audi's um Welten verbessert.

Ich hatte den einen oder anderen Subwoofer für den Untersitzeinsatz ausprobiert und bin zum Entschluss gekommen, dass dieser hier am Besten abgeschnitten hat. Klang und Tiefbass sind meinen Vorstellungen entsprechend und haben die Anlage in meinem T6 extrem aufgewertet.

Great bass, fit under seat of Honda pilot and transformed our sound!! 2 months of use so far so good
