Dangerous
Bought one of these rated for 150A.Drawing a load of around 70A through it, noticed the cables in and out of this resettable fuse were very hot. Elsewhere in the circuit, they were cool.Removed the fuse from where it was mounted and dismantled it to see what was going on. The contact area in this thing are probably 2mm diameter. But, they were not flat, so the actual contact area was probably a tenth of that. 150a through a 2mm circle, who knew a fuse could make a circuit less safe... The attached photos show the contact area. The fuse got hot enough to begin melting the plastic the contacts were screwed to.I am fairly sure had I increased the load, and drawn it for anymore than a minute or two, this thing would have caught fire. Do not buy. Remove from your project if you already have one. DANGEROUS.

Not as good as would like.
My issue with these type A items is their inaccuracy in cutoff current. I’ve had 150A 100A and 2x30A. All items disconnect below their rated loading. In a DC solar setup The 30s disconnect at 23A, the 100 at 75, the 150 at less than 100. I wrote to the manufacturer highlighting this, these items should disconnect at above their rated load, ie they should allow the rated current all day without tripping. They make good isolation switches, but they are no good protecting my wiring from overloads.

Used mine in a small solar project
I have a few of these wired into A Couple of solar Projects,my first was a 40amp ! I had wired on 180amp welding cable to a bank of sockets through a inverter, used mainly as a isolation switch ... .i was sceptical on whether or not this would trip at all , sure enough it works after overloading my system with a grass strimmer it Tripped as it should, Hence why the purchase of the 80amp. Very pleased with this product

Not capable of anywhere near 100 Amps
These are very hit and miss as to what load they trip at.Two of the ones I bought trip at around 40 amps at 12v, one of them at 20 amps. The bimetallic strip inside doesn’t always trip the switch completely so you end up with the breaker resetting itself once it cools down.I wouldn’t trust these to protect anything important. Not recommended, just use a fuse instead.

It is okay for what it is
Vought this as an in line for my car subwoofer/amplifier.Wouldnt recommend it as in car audio application amperage can spike by a few amperage even if you have a in line 100amp fuse which wouldnt break, however this circuit breaker does trip and so not recommended for car audio application.

Rated performance is not accurate test before use!!!!!!!
This product is not fit for purpose, 20A breaker should not take a minute to disconnect at 30+ amps, interestingly I have the 30A version too and it performs better taking only 26 seconds to trip on he same set up, either this item has been given the wrong rating, faulty or just bad quality do not trust the ratings until you have tested them, I will be returning this one.

Cheap ish but works
The armature on mine does not align. Not tested to see if it protects. White box no instructions.Manual button isolates on push.Body seems decent enough but mechanism seems cheap sort of ratcheted feel.Put mine in van conversion running from the solar pannel. Oddly if solar pannel is disconnected my control box says night mode if panel on shows day if isolated shows day icon but no v or amps.
