I've bought about...15? or so ascots from Amazon. This one here was definitely the cheapest feeling, by far. "Satin" I think is code for "extremely thin synthetic material that is shiny". I wouldn't buy this again---I got wooed by the cool color.

Looked nice for wearing to a friends Victorian gothic theme wedding. A little instruction from YouTube on how to tie it properly was needed (might have been nice for it to have come with directions). But it worked great. It's a nice quality tie for the money. While we were using it for something pretty costume-y, it could totally have been worn for a more "real" formal occasion. It's not real silk or anything, not super duper luxurious, but doesn't look like it screams "cheap Halloween costume". It fit very well, too. My husband is big and tall and it fit fine on his neck (he wears a 20 neck size dress shirt). It was the right length,too.

Seems like a very nixe product, but we disnt get to use it! Thought I was ordering black when it was actually brown. The colors don't have the color name, but rather an alpha-numeric description. I couldn't tell by the pics what the colors were. Very bummed, was excited to have this for a Halloween costume for my husband. overall, good quality though.

Very nice for such a low price. Hand made and very soft. I bought two and they're both made with the same high standards. Definitely recommend.

I have a blue, a white, and a black tuxedo, this red doesn't work with the blue, but looks great with the other two.

I like this cravat but it's a little too short to properly tie. It still worked for my purpose, which was part of a costume, but if you are wearing it a traditional tie, you might want to look further.

Beautifully sewn and a great classic satin black. I have used it with many outfits and it is a classy, vintage addition. Not very long, so your top button needs a high location (I use it with a double-breasted vest).

Purchased this as an accessory to a Halloween costume, I admit I had to Google "how to tie an ascot" because I had not a clue, & I still don't think it came out correctly but the the item was beautiful, and the color "DRA7E01A" which is a burgundy red was exactly true to my monitor so that's a plus!
