OP/TECH USA 1301052 Extensions (Regular) - System Connectors

These extensions work with all other OP/Tech pieces that use the same connectors. I've heavily used a variety of OP/TECH straps and a dual harness for years and never had a hardware failure. The stuff just works and is sturdy, reliable, and durable. One of the first OP/TECH straps I became the owner of was the "free" camera strap Canon Professional Services gives members the first time they join at the "Gold" or "Platinum" level. Although it carries the CPS logo on the strap's pad, it's an OP/TECH product as evidenced by the OP/TECH logo on the plastic quick connectors between the pad and the strap ends. I love the modular way OP/TECH pieces can be interchanged to create the exact configuration one wants. I love the low prices of the various bits and pieces, such as these extensions, that allows one to customize their rig without breaking the bank. Other strap/sling companies want to charge an arm and a leg for a simple proprietary connector to customize their products. I love the way most OP/TEch connectors attach to the camera's strap lugs, rather than to the tripod socket on the bottom of the camera. With many setups, this provides redundancy. Although I've never had an OP/TECH piece of hardware fail, I have failed to be sure and click a connector all the way in a time or two. The redundancy allowed by having two connectors attached to the camera saved it and the lens attached to it from falling to the ground! I love the overall low price, compared to many other similar products, of the OP/TECH gear. I love the way OP/TECH products are well made and won't wear out with heavy use. The one thing I'm not thrilled about are the way the plastic quick connectors rattle and that they're not the most comfortable things to deal with when they are near your hands operating the camera's controls. But that is the price one must pay to have the flexibility of moving the camera quickly from one type of setup to another, so I live with it. One can use longer strap ends without the quick connectors near the camera end, but that reduces the flexibility of attaching the camera to different straps and harnesses in different ways.

I bought this before I graduated as an extender for my lotion holster. for my business. It doesnt fit the holster at all! The end piece is too small and Amazon wouldnt take it back because it had been too long since I ordered it. Its crap. I wasted my money hoping it would fit and I even read the measurements, still just crap! I wont order again!!

I have AN Op/Tech camera strap which was too short for my everyday use. These extension straps were the perfect answer. They were fairly priced and well-made.

These extensions are perfect for adjusting the camera strap to fit a larger person or to give more flexibility in carrying the camera. They work perfectly to allow me to carry my SLR on my hip instead of in front of my body when hiking. They actually come in two sizes - regular and extra long - but when you order, there is no option to select which size you want. Amazon sent the XL which would have been perfect for someone up to 7 ft tall !! By shortening them to their minimum length and shortening the camera straps to their minimum, I got a good fit. (I am 6 ft tall). Would have been 5 stars if I had received the regular extensions...

perfect for travel

I think the Op/Tech camera straps are a little short if you are looking for flexibility. These extensions provide the extra length one might want. The person I bought these for is 5'10" and of average weight and wanted the extensions so he could wear the camera crossways (like a messenger bag) sometimes. These really help with that. The connection points seem sturdy and firm, like they won't accidentally break or come loose, and they are easy to adjust.

The male/female clip on both straps (as well as on both ends of each strap) are too small!!! My fanny pack has a wider strap and a wider clip. Look at all the reviews! There's a reason why this is so cheap and why it's an "Add On" item! Amazon, you're wrong for this one!! 😣

Bought because it was stated that it was a standard size for a fanny pack. It was not, we could not use them. Sitting in a drawer unused. :(

Bought a set of these to go with the Op/TECH Utility sling strap. Perfect for those of a certain vintage with the fuller figure! The sling, even fully adjusted was struggling to get around my portly frame. However, I simply clipped one of these straps in, at it's shortest setting, and the job is done. The whole thing is perfect. With my doubling up of security on the strap (see my Utility Strap review) this product is brilliant. If you are tall like me, or expanding outwards like me, or both, just like me, order a pack of these with your sling.

Son para ampliar la longitud de los arneses que fabrica esta marca para cámaras fotográficas y para prismáticos de observación de aves o naturaleza. Lo uso para transportar cámaras fotográficas DSLR y prismaticos ligeros o pesados de las mejores marcas. En las cámaras sobre todo pongo los conectores más cortos de la marca para que si las monto en un trípode no estorben las correas. Luego, si la tengo que transportar en bandolera o colgada del cuello, conecto instantáneamente la banda que va al cuello o al hombro junto con estas correas de extensión ajustadas a la longitud que convenga. Las ventajas de esta marca son calidad, seguridad y comodidad, esta última sobre todo cuando hay que pasar horas caminando o de pie con la cámara y objetivos, o con los prismáticos. No adjunto fotos, toda la serie está suficientemente descrita en la web y los vídeos de OP/TECH.

et de porter ainsi un équipement photographique pesant en travers, et ce même en hiver vêtu d'une doudoune ou d'un manteau. Ainsi l'appareil reste sécurisé et le poids est mieux réparti, contrairement au portage traditionnel qui fait peser tout l'appui sur le cou. L'été ces deux extensions peuvent être réduites au minimum ou enlevées. Permet également de s'adapter au physique femme/homme. Avec les connecteurs pour protéger et sécuriser les attaches rapides cela revient à un portage plus simple qu'un harnais, tout en allégeant la charge. Je recommande parce que les courroies Op/Tech sont vraiment agréables, en néoprène tout doux.
