I installed a set of 4 on our Sun Tracker 20 foot DLX barge this week - and it was super easy. It took about 30 minutes, and the sounds is about 50% louder and the bass works WAY better. Its a cheap and easy upgrade. I was worried about using speakers that were $44 for a set of two haha - but they were fine.

I got these to replace a flush mount installation in our RV. Instead of sawing a bigger opening in the wall, I used flush mount adapters to mount these on the outside of the wall. These are deep, fairly at speakers and when doing this type of retro-fit, it's important to check for your opening width and depth. I avoided that with a good pair of adapters.The sound on these is just a huge improvement over the standard crap speakers RV manufacturers use. If I ever bought another RV, in addition to replacement of the garbage shower head, and mattress, I'd also make replacing the outdoor speakers with a pair like these a condition of the sale.

These went into a 2005 Larsen 27 Lxi to replace the original Jensen 150 watt speakers that were just weather warn and cones blown. These went in easily although the the old speakers had a snap on cover and these are single molded unit and I had to drill new screw holes because these were out farther than originals.The sound great at abut 50% of volume when playing off an Iphone that is set to top volume. But when you start getting to 75% volume on my 200 watt / 50 per channel system, they start distorting quickly. That said... at idle or low cruise, 50% is almost too loud for conversation, but when we are underway, and want more volume, we distort at the higher end.I'm not an audio expert, but I sure don't understand how a 200 watt speaker like this one can distort on a 50 watt per channel, 200 watt max head unit. In fairness, I think the Jensen's that came with the boat would distort too, but its been so long since they were new, solid speakers before they blew out, I kind of forget.Short version: These are cheap, sound good, work and got us back to some good sound when played at a reasonable, old man volume.

We needed to replace our speakers inside and outside our boat. These were the perfect fit after trying several brands. Be sure to measure closely! High quality product!

My new to me 2006 boat needed a new set of speakers these appeared to be exactly the same speakers. The holes lines up perfectly and the speaker itself looked identical. Good sound.

I was really excited about these speakers. They would have been super easy to install. Unfortunately for me, as I discovered the space I had would not accomadate them. Very sad about that. I had to return them and get the next step down, very sad again. Bottom line is If you have the space, Purchase, when wired the sound really good.

What a great deal on a great product!! I am shocked at how clear and how loud these speakers are! My pontoon boat is completely open, so sounds are lost quickly. But with these speakers there is no problem hearing them anywhere on the boat even while traveling. Great bass too. These are worth more than twice the price!! (Don’t get any ideas about raising it Amazon- LOL) Have already recommended them to friends!

*update*I've had these speakers installed for over 2 years now. Ended up installing the other 2 for a total of 4 speakers. All but one are still working just as good as the day I bought them. That one almost sounds like it's slighlty blown when turned up really loud but all other volumes it sounds fine. This issue only started this past summer. They have held up in the marine environment very well considering how often they get wet. Whenever they do decide to kick the bucket I will absolutely be buying another set.Installed these on my center console skiff last week. Honestly for the price they sound great.Overall sound quality was way above my expectations. I had high end speakers on my last boat and honestly sound quality isn't much different except maybe these have slightly less bass. Didnt come with instructions but I've installed speakers before. Included wiring is cheap but i used my own anyways. Time will tell how they hold up. Bought 4 installed 2 not sure if I even need the other 2 because it sounds pretty good even when cruising. Good quality for the money I would absolutely recommend.
