They do not offer the security level of U-Locks or hardened steel chains. What a good quality folding lock do offer is minimal to medium security and convenience to take along on a ride. They are best suited as a “quick-stop” lock for those rides you find yourself needing/wanting to stop at a store or even restroom breaks.However, not all folding bike locks are created equal. I’ve tried low-cost alternatives/imitations and can tell you the security level these cheap ones provide is probably no more than a step or two above heavy-duty zip-ties. On the other hand, Abus folding locks sits on the top-tier category with the 6055 sitting within the same class as well-known brands – (Kryptonite and Foldylocks). It is a high-quality lock that will serve as excellent deterrent to prevent marauding low-life leaches from walking off with your bike.

Nice lock. But does NOT include the holster to attach to bike frame. The holster is hard to find and the holster costs more than the lock. ABUS is great. But similar, better-packaged (with holster) folding locks out there.

I thought small would be mighty but in reality a two footer is way to short to lock a bike to a bike rack, post or anything. It’s also a little tricky to line up and get end of lock back in its slot. I had hoped to return it and order a longer one because I do like the brand’s reputation and strength of lock but missed return window. A month is too short of time to really see if you like a product or not. Especially a bike lock that you don’t use every day. In general, bummed.

The 60 cm version is a sometimes too small to reach around fixtures to secure the bike. Wish I'd bought the 80 cm version.

Product is great but it came without the holder. It is shown in the pictures with it but arrived without.It should have said that in the description

This product is so small, it wouldn't work on a tricycle. Unless you plan on using this as a bracelet; don't bother.

Product is advertised as coming with the 6055 bracket in two of four pictures. It does not come with this! Sloppy or false advertising. Very disappointing.

Compré este candado porque ya tenía otro abus pero este se siente muy frágil a comparación del otro, y se siente de calidad un poco débil.

Perfect for traveling.not enough to attach to an other things but just enough to attach the wheel. Really light and compact.

Por ponerle una pega. Deberia incorporarse el soporte.

I wish it had come with the lock holster to have on the bike. Other than that, it’s a good lock.

Come da titolo. Va comunque bene, l avessi acquistato a prezzo pieno (50) ci sarei rimasto male. Per 20 va bene. Livello sicurezza 7/15 , da non confondere il 7 di sicurezza di altre marche , che hanno 10 livelli e non 15. In pratica questo è sicurezza 4,6/10. Però è meglio di una catena o cavi con serratura
