Good bags for the money
Update: Contacted seller about only receiving one bag instead of four. They said this was an error in the Amazon warehouse which they have now corrected. Seller sent me 3 sandbags priority mail the same day I contacted them. Great customer service.Bag Review:I can't speak to longevity at this point, but my initial impression is they aren't bad for the money. The bags are constructed in similar fashion to other inexpensive sandbags available on amazon. The dimensions are 10x21.5" when laid out flat. The orange colored stripes are accurately represented in the item photograph, the other side is all black. Each bag has a total of four zippers, two on each side, an internal and external zipper to minimize sand from leaking out. The zippers don't seem to be the best quality, but they all work and there would be no need to zip them frequently so they should be fine. The bags are made from a reasonably thick material that is rubberized on the inside. The weakest part is the edge stitching. It is single stitched and the spacing is wide side at about 5mm.If it's going to leak sand, it would be at the seam. As others have suggested in reviews of similar bags, if using sand it's best to put it inside a plastic zip storage bag (even doubled) first and not directly in the sandbag. Not only will this decrease the chance of leaking, but it will also prevent sand from abrading the stitching and help the bag last longer. The bag is "reversible" in the sense that you can use use it with the orange stripe side visible, or you can flip it over for an all black look. Just make sure before you fill it that one loop handle is on each side, it comes shipped with both on the same side. The fabric handles use a bar tack on the ends so they should stay attached reasonably well.I haven't yet filled them so I can't confirm what they will weigh. I will try to update this when I do.Original Review:I ordered this, and received only one bag not four. I figured this was a fluke and processed the return and ordered it again. I received my second order and once again I only received 1 sandbag instead of 4.The bag itself looked okay and very much like other ones available on amazon. For the price, it's too expensive for only 1 bag.I will be contacting the seller and update this if any new information comes out of that.

You can buy a single Pro bag at a camera store for $25 but why?
"For about $4.00 each, I'm very satisfied with these bags. Yes, I received 4 of them on 03/06/13. The only reason I don't give them 5 stars is because the stitching could be better (I read the reviews and was well aware of this)I was going to take them to a shoe repair shop nearby to have them reinforce them but I figured that they would charge me more than what I paid for the bags so I decided to go with the ziplock bags for insurance and this is how I did it:Bought a 100 lbs bag of 20 grit silica sand at Lowe's $9. I used the gallon size ziplock bags with expandable bottom and filled each bag on a kitchen scale with 8 lbs of sand. Leave just enough air in bag so the sand moves freely but not a lot that creates a bubble and carefully insert in pockets (make sure to zip both zippers completely. This was the hardest part). You can probably fill each bag with 10 lbs and use the whole 100 lbs of sand but it will be a bit harder to insert it in pockets...Your call.As far as durability...To early to tell but I'm sure that if you don't throw them around they should last.As far as the orange stripes...I really don't mind. They might actually help with visibility, specially on location after the shoot when it's dark and it's easy to leave one or two behind (Trust me, I know). March 8, 2013 Remove

Fair product, Bad business
I received (1) bag. I had read the initial reviews and was aware that this could happen. However, I figured I would just go for it, and what do you know. Just (1), not (4) like the description says. I filed a response, and Amazon, NOT the seller offered me (2) choices. Either return the bag for a full refund, or offer me an 80% refund and keep the bag. I was actually impressed by that gesture of 80%. I wrote back though requesting the option to just have Amazon place 3 additional orders of (1) bag at no charge, as I felt that seems fine, I would still get what I paid for. Come to find out, this is not something that can be done, so they decided to offer me a 100% refund (including my shipping) for the product, and keep the bag.Plus 1 for Amazon for this. Even though I still would honestly rather have 4 bags, but getting one free, i won't argue.Negative too much to the seller.. Fix your listingThe quality of the bag is quite fair by the way. Just don't FILL it, or swing it around. We'll see how long it lasts.1 Star for Amazon CS, and another star for a product that does it's job adequately, and theoretically at a good price.

What more do you want?
I required some sandbags for very limited use so I did not want to spend very much. I found these bags on Amazon however was hesitant as some customer reviews said they had only received one bag when the listing clearly stated it was for four. I contacted the seller through Amazon expressing my concern before I ordered. The seller replied that the listing was indeed for four bags and should I have any problems to contact them again and they would make it right. My kudos to them. I did receive four bags and they are very nice (as sand bags go). The orange stripes are not silkscreened on but rather orange nylon stripes sewn to the black nylon bag. The "handles" are double nylon strap and each side of the bag has double zippers covered by a flap for the weight pouches. The material is rather heavy and I have no doubt these bags could hold 20lbs each. I put zipper lock bags in the pouches and filled them with pea gravel from the home store until they "looked about right". At the current price these are the least expensive set of four bags I have found anywhere. I don't know what more you could ask for in a bag of this type and I like the orange too. Recommended.
