High intensity hydration
Right off the bat I would like to say anyone looking for a sweet great tasting mix, this is not it. The sodium content in this is extremely high and difficult to mask. That being said skratch did a good job of making it drinkable. I took a serving the night before a 20mi long summer run and I clearly felt the difference from the runs before when I didn't take it. Felt much more balanced and hydrated after my water breaks. This stuff is really only meant for intense long duration workouts. Definitely not an everyday hydration supplement but awesome for those brutal days.

This product ended leg cramps for me at 100k to Grand Fondo endurance cycling events/races..
I am an endurance road cyclist. One lingering problem that has plagued me is leg cramps. If its the quads, I can keep going, but I can't get out of the saddle, nor can I accelerate. If it's a hamstring that locks up, it is pure hell just to be able to pull over to side of the road and stop, swig some pickle juice, wait about 5+ minutes for it to calm down and start my ride back up. It may bother me the rest of the event. I try to carry enough fluids/food to do a 100k non stop, and do a Grand Fondo in one stop, depending on heat, and keeping hydrated. So, I saw the hyper hydration, thought "I'll give it a try". I've tried magnesium supplements (without naming product name) and the salt tablet supplements, nether helped me at all. I have now have used the product at 4 events, 3 times using it on the drive to the event that morning. At the Tulsa Tough 101 mile Grand Fondo, (2019) I used it as my 1st bottle out of 3 I carried on board. My results, no leg cramps. A little twinge at the Grand Fondo from my left leg, right part of the quad, took about 1/4 of an ounce of pickle juice, no issues after that. The three 100k events, zero issues! My last event to date, the Tour of the Wichitas in Oklahoma. 63 miles, 2800 feet of climbing, non stop, 3:15:50, 58 miles in time trial mode, (got dropped off the lead group at mile five, that's a different issue then hydration, ha, ha). This is the first product that has ended the dreaded leg cramps for me. I only use it at events, not training. I would also suggest to cyclist out there, drink it the morning before the ride. It's salty, so at the Grand Fondo using it as my 1st bottle, kind of made me thirsty, still didn't have to stop for fluids until mile 77. The taste, yeah like another review said, it's not great, it's alright though. If you have leg cramp problems, don't worry about the taste, but the results. Also, the product will turn rock hard inside the package, that's not a expiration, or it's bad issue, it's just what it does, and the little opening tab is to small to get the product out, so just cut the top open with scissors, it will dissolve in water. One other note: if you have a problem with high blood pressure, check with your Doctor, it is a high sodium drink mix. Look, nobody really knows exactly what causes leg cramps, to my fellow cyclist out there for me, this is the only product that has truly helped me. There is nothing worse than motoring along and start to feel the tell - tell sign that some muscle in your leg is starting to cramp. I don't do a lot of reviews, but now that I am 4 for 4 times using this product, I know it works for me, and wanted to let other cyclist/athlete's out there know that. My apologies for such a long review, I just wanted to put into context my type of road cycling. If you try it, hope it helps you!

Ride changer
Totally changed my ability to do long rides. It is has lots of Na. I never realized how important that is for long rides especially in the Florida heat. I have always suffered from cramps at the end or even after a ride. With this no cramping and I felt strong at 90+ miles. The single serving packets are great to carry on the ride. I wish they also had large sacs of it to sell as well. Passion fruit flavor is subtle, and not cloying a s some mixes can be.

Great for endurance sports (2+ hours)
I use these before a half marathon or more or before a triathlon (olympic distance and higher). The taste is so-so but I never cramp despite all the sweating i do when i run and/or cycle. If you are a triathlete or distance runner with cramping issues, this is a great option. No GI issues ever. Drink water (20 oz) with one packet about 1-2 hours before your race and you'll be set.

No Flavor, powder clumping
Tastes more salty than the listed flavor, the powder clumping not easily broken up

Can feel the difference
I’m a very heavy, salty, sweater. In past seasons I’ve cramped after 50-60 miles on a bike. When preloading with this product I’ve done 100+ this year without any cramps. This is just one piece of the overall hydration strategy, but it’s definitely a critical one.
