Very comfortable and well balanced
I have been using this mallet for about a year. All corners/edges are rounded nicely, making it very comfortable for me to hold for long wood chopping/paring sessions. The mallet has held up well.Another good tool from a good manufacturer.EDIT: After re-sanding to round the edges more, and finishing with BLO, this is my go-to bench mallet for chiseling. So comfortable. At 16oz, I consider it the perfect weight for fine chisel work. I also have the Thor mallet, but continually reach for this one instead. With it's wide (but not too wide) face, I'm guaranteed to hit my target every time.

Seems like great quality for the price.
Very impressed thus far with this mallet. I was tempted to spend almost 2x on another brand, but ended up going with this one. I really can't imagine any ways that I could ask this model to be improved. The handle is the perfect thickness for my hand (average adult male) and has great balance with the mallet head. The head seems to be secured very well out of the box; I believe it is glued as well as secured by the handle end splitting shim. I could buy this style of mallet with a flat face because I use Stanley 750 chisels with a very rounded handle butt. I might make one end of this mallet rounded/convex at some point for use with tools that have more flattened contact surfaces.

Great durability
This has held up very well while building a large trestle table. All mortise and tenon joinery and I've carved them out using this mallet and chisels. Comfortable grip, good balance, and not a lot of vibration with hits. I've used it for hours at a time and not had a complaint.

Good mallet for woodworking
Very solid product at a reasonable price. You can make your own, which I highly recommend. But whether this is a gift for a friend or loved one, or if it is for yourself, this is a good mallet. It’s smooth on all edges. Laminated together with a good selection of birch wood. The handle is mounted very solid. Then sealed with a clear oil or varnish, not sure which. Should last a long time.

Great for the light chisel work I’m doing
I have been using this for chiseling on some hard maple wood windows I am making. The amount of chisel work is light, so this product is exactly what I needed. I really like that it is easy to grip and handle, and not so heavy as to fatigue my arm. I’ve used it successfully with 1/4” and 1/2” chisels so far.

It's not Thor's hammer, but it works for the intended purpose
I was going to build a mallet. You know, how all of the woodworking YouTubers do as a rite of passage. But real life and projects got in the way. So, I bought this mallet instead and thus far, I've been pleased. It is priced right, hasn't gotten damaged, even with my hulk-like strength :)If you're looking for a solid mallet at a good price, I recommend this Narex one. I've not yet bought a bad Narex product.

Great quality and design
Perfect weight and balance for a mallet to work with a wood chisel! Strong beachwood butcherblock head with well made handle and wedge. A very well made product. Gotta go to eastern Europe to get old school quality that the USA doesn't make anymore.
