I have purchased this twice because I love it so much I wanted to keep one where I frequently spend the night so I don't lose the one for home. The gentle pressure of the beads is a soothing sensation on the sinuses and the weight seems to help my brain turn off and for me to go to sleep. After wearing it for a while it really has helped to train my brain that it's sleep time. Since it's beads, it's easy to gently press them about for the most comfort if you're a side sleeper like I am, so there's no extra pressure if your cheek presses onto it. That also lets it block the light exceptionally well. The band is comfortable and does loosen up with use, which may be an issue if you move around a lot at night, but I haven't had it slide out of place yet. Will likely pick up a third to keep in my travel bag too. And I haven't even tried putting it in the freezer yet. Great product.

I had three of these originally, purchased at a local Pharmacy, but could not find them any more - then my daughter who also suffers from migraines found them on line. I bought 4 more for a total of 7. I love these - they are the best. The are heavily cushioned and soft, yet they hold firmly to your head and eyes to allow for the slight pressure needed to feel the coolness of the ice beads. The quilting effect allows the pressure to enter the eye socket and not just be around the head or edges. In addition these are ICE COLD but NOTFROZEN BURN. I have tries others (like the blue one that does not have a strap) and that one transfers NO COLDNESS. Then I tried the Blue or Clear Gel type, and they are rock solid ICE COLD to a burn - to uncomfortable to wear tight to the head. These are JSUT RIGHT - real cold but not in a painful way. I put it on, and maybe after 15 minutes I flip it over (upside downish) and get another r10 minutes form it. Works every time. I now have a toal of seven because my daughter constantly forgets to put them back in the freezer, and I like ot have a ready one handy at anytime. NO HEADACHE -- No Problem - a great Room Darkener too - light weight - cumfy - and cool.

Got this yesterday and threw it in the freezer (in a zip lock as suggested, and I agree with them and highly recommend!) for a couple hours. Pulled it out and laid down with it on for a bit. It arrived at the right time, I am fighting a fever off and on and last night I was miserable. When chilled this perfectly fits and cools your forehead as well as your temples and top of the cheeks all while not smooshing your eyes. You can rest this over your eyes and it sits loosely, but I prefer it with the band around my head. With the band securely around your noggin you get a slight pressure that is oddly pleasing. The band is not tight and you really don't even notice it. As I relaxed and my fever started to disappear I got in to sleepy mode and rolled to my side, I was pleased to discover the mask stayed in place. When on there is a bit of light that sneaks up around my nose, but that could just be the way it fits me and will not be true for everyone. Since there is something on my face to encourage my eyes to be closed it isn't that big of a deal. I actually don't mind it because if I were to fall asleep and wake up with it still on I'd get a bit of light and it would remind my sleepy brain it is on, and not cause a moment of panic that I can't see. I plan on getting my mom and sister each one for their birthday's I like mine so much! **UPDATE** I ended up ordering two more sooner than I had expected (mom and sister), they both received them and tried them out and they are also fans. I got sick after I got this and it is AMAZING if you have a fever. Stick it in the freezer (in a plastic baggy) for an hour and it is enough to provide needed relief. The strap holds it perfectly so that it sits right where you would want a cool rag to. I am 100% happy with this item!

These are fantastic for headaches and migraines. Only issue is they seem to warm faster than I would like but, I bought 3 of the to rotate the out. Comfortable on your eyes. Excellent quality.

I didn’t know how much o needed this till I started sleeping with it. I have already found eye mask to help me sleep but the weighted is a whole new level! I have never slept so well! It’s comfortable and blocks all light perfect for relaxing, helping with migraines, or lulling you to sleep. There is no odor. The only thing is the strap is not adjustable so if you have a large head it might be too tight. I have a tiny head so it’s a little loose but I don’t mind.

I’ve been using IMAK eye pillows for almost 15 years and great until they widened band a couple of years ago. They wear out quickly and the widened band can rub your ears raw while you sleep. I understand that they were trying to extend the lifespan of the product, but the wider band wears out much faster than the original one. I used to go through about two a year. Now I have to order one almost every two months. That said, I’ve tried other eye pillows and IMAK is still the best eye pillow I’ve been able to find.

I literally cannot sleep without this. I left it at a friend's house after NYE and had her mail it to me!! It's like a weighted blanket for your eyes. Fully blocks light and isn't restrictive or too loose.

I bought this mask in 2015. I had just been diagnosed with an autoimmune disease that was causing eye issues, and I needed a cold, kind of weighted mask. I got the mask and immediately put it in the freezer overnight and used it the next morning. This mask is so comfortable. The beaded weight is perfect and conforms to my eye area perfectly. The material is very soft and soothing. I love that the beads in the mask get cold, but not so cold that it’s uncomfortable. It is such a soothing mask! I wear it till it starts warming up (about 10 minutes) and then flip it around and get another 10 minutes of cool relief from the other side. After using the mask once, I ordered a 2nd mask. That way I could have cooling relief longer. I’m thinking about ordering two more. While I bought the mask to help with my swollen and painful eyes, it is also wonderful for my migraines. And I also use it on my forehead to help cool me down when I’m overheated. Now the negatives. 1. It does not massage your face. If you want the beads to massage, you have to do it yourself. 2. Unfortunately it does not defy the laws of thermodynamics, and it only stays cold for so long (just like every other mask that comes out of the freezer). Hence why I bought two of them. 3. If you leave it on a table unattended, your new puppy will think it’s a chew toy. But good news, you can put the beads back in it, sew the hole back up and it will be good as new. I’ve had this mask for 8 years and it’s still in like new condition. And I use it pretty frequently. I highly recommend it.
