I tried to feed Misty this because of her special dietary needs. While she ate some of it, she eventually quit eating it because she doesn't like chicken. I don't any negative comments. She just doesn't like it.

I throw a package of chicken shreds on a bit of kibble. My cat loves them. He drinks up all the delicious liquid also, which is good for him. He’s not a picky eater, but I think these shreds would be great for finicky cats.

for my older, hard to please kitty. A little pricey for me. But it's a good treat. Will buy again.

First off, this is really chicken. Cooked, shredded chicken, broth, and water. Doesn't get more real than that. And my cat LOVED it. But, it's simply too expensive to feed her this on the regular, and there's not much in the packets. I had to stop giving it to my cat because she wouldn't eat anything else!

I bought the tuna shreds in broth and it was really wet, with not much meat inside. I didn't realize it was just 25 calories, so I guess that is why it's mostly broth. Fairly expensive considering it's mostly broth, and it's difficult to get the bit of meat out of the pouch.

My cats love the wellness core in this flavor and one other. I buy this product on a regular basis {every 2-3 weeks}. It is decently priced but my only issue is that approximately a quarter of the product gets thrown away because the food sticks to the pouches and doesn’t all come out. I will continue to buy this item as my cats love it but maybe a better delivery system so there is none being wasted each time.

Our allergic cat is allergic to all the expensive vet only food ("science" hill etc) but with these cans she's super happy and no allergies. We switched from dry food to wet food on the vet's advice, no regrets.--update April 2017: After being out of stock for weeks, they seem to have changed the formula without telling anyone. This is not what it once was, the texture is much softer and the ingredients list is now similar to lower priced, lower quality foods: lots of carragheenan for texture, cheap vegetables, less meat.--update July 2017: Quality degraded even further. The lamb & venison cans now include chicken meal which is a low quality filler. It's also problematic because our cat is allergic to poultry. This is exactly why we weren't buying poultry cans. Total junk now, absolutely not worth the money

Overall this seems to be a great product! I always try to get the best quality food I can that’s not full of preservatives or additives and this brand so far ticks my boxes. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars is because my feline friends seem to be a little picky. They both eat it no problem but put the pate option in front of them and it’s devoured! Since I myself cannot be an authority on taste or texture, I guess I have to rely on the cats!! Bottom line is: I believe it to be a great product in terms of quality ingredients but my cats are just a little picky!!

Normally, I would say this food is top notch. That's mostly due to the fact our cats actually like it and eat it, even the most fussy one. When it went on sale with a bonus, we stocked up while the going was good.Ready to feed it within a couple days. Opened some cans and they looked okay. But it was the smell that had us concerned! What a horrible stink! Didn't smell spicy, moldy or rotten, but had an odor like never before. Kind of like a last week's meatless casserole overnuked in the microwave for the third time. Otherwise, couldn't identify the stench.I've known the smell of this food for quite a while and this was not it. The same cans are currently being offered at a significant discount. If anyone buys it, it will be interesting to read their review. I recommend you pass on it.

Another canned cat food that my cats with allergies can eat. My reviews are pretty similar between all these wellness can foods. My cats (between them all) are allergic to corn, wheat, soy, possibly by products and rice. So that really limits what you can feed them. This food has none of those. The cats also enjoy it.

Great quality, but a bit of a hard sell for the cats. They don't seem to enjoy it much and I have to mix it with another food they like better.
