Matte protection
I'm in the sun about a half hour a day walking most days and in the car about a half hour a day and it's currently summer. I also recently started putting on a heavy duty acne treatment that makes your skin sun sensitive. That being said, I was really happy with how little product I needed to cover my shoulders and face. It comes out white and smells lightly like a traditional sunscreen and the scent dissipates. When it absorbs into your skin on application the white vanishes. It didn't dry out my face nor did I notice an increase in moistureI put a matte moisturizer on in the morning and this picture was taken after blotting my face about 5 hours later with a little shine I had (then applying this product). It was matte to the look and touch and stayed that way for hours after! I was happy with that and actually feel like it did a better job with mattefying than my moisturizer does, though it could have been a mix of the two.No redness after sun exposure after, it was lightweight on my face and I'm happy about the purchase!

Not greasy, doesn't break me out, so pleasant to use!
I was looking yet again for a facial sunscreen for summer to use under makeup. I'm not very faithful about using sunscreen. I know I should be, yet living up north and being one who stays indoors a lot, I don't worry about it like I should. But when summer comes, I try to wear one most days. But I hate the way they feel, and every year I am on the hunt for one that is not greasy or heavy, won't cause breakouts, and works well under makeup. And is not expensive, to boot. That seems to be a really hard combination to find. The Neutrogena Ultra Sheer is sort of close, but I still find it feels to greasy and heavy on my skin. I gave this one a try this year, and I really like it. As I apply it, I feel like oh no, this is going to be greasy and heavy, too. But no, as soon as I am done applying, it disappears. I really don't feel it on my skin after that. It doesn't leave a white cast once it is applied, and it works well under my makeup. It seems to offer great sun protection. I am very fair and burn easily and I have had no problems. It is a generously sized tube for the price. I use it on my neck and chest, as well. I have had no problem with my eyes stinging as I use it under them. Of course, I am careful not to get it my eyes. No new pimples since using it, no rashes or other irritation either. I think it's a good product, and I recommend it.

Goes on easily and clear with no fragrance
Great sunscreen that goes on clear with no noticeable scent. I use on my face and also arms and legs.

Allergic Reaction
I’ve admittedly not been the greatest about wearing sunscreen, but decided recently it’s time to take things seriously. So I purchased this sunscreen in the hopes that it would serve its purpose, while also being gentle on my acne-prone skin (because having acne at 28 is so cute). So…it did protect me from the sun, meaning that I didn’t get burned; HOWEVER, I had the unfortunate realization that I’m HIGHLY allergic to chemical-based sunscreens.(All those years of experiencing itchy hives the day after sunscreen application and I just chalked it up to being sunburned, and lowkey thought I was allergic to the sun; yes, I am a few sandwiches short of a picnic)I have the worst hives on my neck, around my eyes and sporadically all over my face, and I absolutely want to peel my skin off with a cheese grater.BUT it didn’t break me out so I guess that’s a bonus.TLDR: It served its purpose of being anti-sunburn and gentle on acne-prone skin, but it’s horrible if you’re allergic to sunscreens that aren’t mineral-based. Lesson learned.

Lightweight
I've been using this sunscreen for 5-6 years now. Other sunscreens have caused me to breakout. Using this lightweight face sunscreen gives me the protection without causing any breakouts.

Not Bad, but Not Amazing Either
The Neutrogena Clear Face Sunscreen SPF 30 is a decent option if you have acne-prone or sensitive skin and want something that won’t clog pores. It’s lightweight, absorbs fairly quickly, and doesn’t feel overly greasy, which is a plus. However, it can be hard to blend in to my skin, leave a slightly shiny finish, and it stings a bit if my skin is irritated or if it gets near my eyes. It also has that classic sunscreen scent, which frankly I’m over. These companies can do better.Overall, it’s a solid, basic sunscreen for everyday use, but there are other options out there that feel more comfortable or have a more skin-friendly finish and ingredients. I ended up finishing the tube on my arms and legs.I have also purchased this in SPF 55 and my feelings are the same, but since it was SPF 55 I did wear it outside for long periods. With replication I avoided getting burned, so that's good.
