TowelSelections Women's Kimono Robe 100% Cotton Soft Terry Bathrobe

Wow. I've been looking for a dark purple terry cloth robe for quite some time. I saw this same one at Holiday time, but it was only available in XL and kept erring out when I tried to order it. So, I kind of forgot about it. My friend was getting it for me for my birthday. And my birthday was in December, so I just plain forgot...until I saw her in August. Oh...let's check again. Score! It was available in many sizes.So...we ordered it. It was waiting for me when I got back from my vacation. It's gorgeous! Fluffy TERRY CLOTH, perfect medium to dark purple color, the exact neckline I had been searching for, pockets, belt, etc. It was EXACTLY what I wanted. It's comfy, plenty roomy and long enough. I'm pretty tall and it's the perfect length. Not too long; not too short. The sleeves are a bit long, but that's OK. I would actually order this again, and I just might so I have a spare. My previous terry cloth robe lasted over 15 years, so I expect the same from this one. We'll see...

My Additional comments are as follows :"The bathrobe was a gift to my 78 year old mother. She wore it and it left lint all over her clothing, so she washed it. As we spoke my father was busy cleaning massive amounts of long pieces of lint from the robe out of the washing machine. They said they refused to dry it in the dryer, since it would probably clog up and ruin that machine too. My mom says it is so deteriorated that she will not consider wearing it. The reviews on this product in no way suggest this to be a problem, so I can only assume that this is a new fabric that the company have started to use. VERY disappointed in this item from this seller." 4.20.2015 UPDATE: The company sent me a replacement in Ivory. I had no issue with washing or drying it. It is very absorbent and comfortable. I believe the problem existed with the purple one only, and am very happy with this robe.

After I hop out of the shower, I don't usually like to get dressed immediately. I might go get my pot of coffee started, go to pick out my outfit for the day, make the bed. Without this robe, I was struggling with just my towel around me. And of course when winter hits, I'm also freezing!I am SO glad I ordered this robe! I've had microfiber robes before that don't absorb water, it's just not the same. This robe makes the transition from shower to clothes a lot more comfortable for procrastinator in me. I've used it every single day since it has arrived.Since I'm tall (5'10") but not necessarily wide, I wasn't sure which size to order. I ended up going with the Large, and yeah...it's large all right. It goes all the way down to mid-calf on me, and the sleeves extend past my wrists. Neither of these are really a problem for me, but the smaller size probably would have sufficed.I love that this robe feels slightly heavy, in such a way that it feels luxurious. Very happy with my purchase...would absolutely purchase again!

Had to send the first one back due to the sash was not sewn properly and was unravelling after the first washing. Amazon was very good to help with the return and replacement. They were apologetic and cheerful to work with. All that being said, I would have given a 5 star rating otherwise. After reading reviews on a lot of robes, I decided on this one for a Valentine Day gift for my wife. We have a hot tub built in to our deck and use our terry robes quite often. My wife is short (5' 4") and has trouble finding clothes that fit, especially robes. One reviewer had written that this robe fits short people well and they were right. When momma is happy, everyone is happy!

Let me start by saying I'm 5'5" and 135 lbs. I ordered a medium and it hits mid calf and the sleeves hit right at my wrist. There is plenty of room to wrap this around myself but its not so big that its feels weird when I tie it and it does not gap at the front leaving me feeling exposed. This is a mid weight robe, its not super heavy so you won't feel hot during the summer but it has enough weight that it will keep you warm. I use my robe right out of the shower and this does a great job of whisking the water away from my skin but it dries itself fairly quickly after use. For the price you can't go wrong. I'm thinking about buying a 2nd so that I'll have one when this one dies which I don't think will be anytime soon.

This is a great robe especially for the price. It's a nice, thick, towel-like robe that doesn't cost a fortune. I hate the polyester robes everyone sells now and was happy to find one that is terry cloth and well under $100. The blue color is very pretty and the picture is accurate. My only complaint is that it is a little too big, but since I've already washed it I can't return it. For reference I am about 5'8" and a US size 4, I bought a small/medium and wish I had gotten the extra small. Otherwise, a great buy!

I needed a robe for post water aerobics, one with enough absorbency and coverage to keep me warm from neck to feet and this one sure fits the bill. I'm pretty substantial so I ordered the large/extra large which, as expected, provided great coverage. Only problem is the sleeves: they are way too long and have to be double rolled to free my hands for driving home. This wouldn't be a problem except they tend to unroll too easily. Only other thing I don't like is the color. From the picture I expected a deeper, more Kelly type green and the color is actually lighter and a little more on the yellow side of green (rather than blue) but that's no big thing. otherwise a great robe.

Heavy weight for winter only in my opinion. Way, way too large. Returned for a size smaller and might have even gone one size smaller than that. Very absorbent; takes a while to dry.

Fits good...wonderfully soft. .bought for my wife, she loves it!!
