These books are very quick reading for the average adult, because they are geared more for junior high/early high school aged readers. They are very reminiscent of Beverly Cleary in that the characters are very easily relatable, even with being 1/2 mermaid. The adolescent issues are very real. I found the entire series to be sweet and poignant while having some surprises and twists and turns along the way. I'd highly recommend them to anyone who loves mermaids and wants a bit of fun summer reading.

I enjoyed the drama of this story. It is a new look on old legends and I appreciate the characters not being perfect.

I really like this book it is awesome. I like all the drama. And how funny it is. But it's not for kids to much. I like to think that mermaids are real. It's a real good series and if you are bored just pick up this book. If you start reading this book you can't stop at all at night I have to force my self to stop reading

U loved this book it had a good wrap in the end of it.I would recommend this book to anyone who like suspense, fictional characters, and sort of a romance kinda book.I gave this book a 4/5 star rating only because for me it was a little confusing. Anyway overall it was an amazing series.

I loved this book! It seems awesome for ten year olds and up. I am ten and i understood EVERYTHING. I really recommend everyone to read this book. This book had me turning the pages the whole time, and I had thought Luke was probably going to kiss her again. But instead she kissed him and they are now apparently, officially dating. I can not wait for another book....:) I <3 0<~~~{

My daughter loved this book! It was on sale, looked a good read for a young girl of her age (13 at the time), so I bought it. It was on sale, and she loved it so much I had to find her the next novel in the series! :)
