OGX Intensive Moisture Mask, Hydrating Macadamia Oil, 8oz

Product is very thick, similar to butter which is left out on the counter. The smell is neither strong nor flowery; two additional benefits. I have salt & pepper dark brown hair where the 'salt' seems to not want to lay with the rest of my hair, but rather; it tends to stick up, making it more noticeable. After receiving product, I washed my hair & applied a dollop of this mask to my hair. I left it in while eating my supper & then rinsed it out. My hair was soft as a cotton ball & all those little gray hairs were laying as perfectly as the rest of my hair. I have a sensitive scalp & can break out easily from products but this mask doesn't irritate my scalp. I would definitely buy this again.

This product smells divine & works like a dream. My hair is soft, smells great & is shiny. Excellent product.BUT this seller is PRICE GOUGING bc it's been discontinued. I used to pay maybe $12 for it, & he has the nerve to charge $45 or $50! This is highway robbery & I won't pay it, despite loving & missing it.

I have recently gone beach blonde from having jet black hair. To avoid major damage and keep hair length, my stylist recommended to make the transformation slow and stretch the process out for 4 months with gradual highlighting and bleach baths. Even with taking it slow, the process took a toll on my locks. I am usually the envy of many girls with my naturally thick and very wavy hair, but after all the bleaching, I lost my waves and my hair become seriously coarse and dry and gross. It would tangle all the time and even the loads and loads of conditioner I used did not help much with tangling or hydrating my hair. It was a frizz nightmare.Since I can't really afford high end products like Bumble & Bumble (used at the salon), I decided to try out this Organix hydrating mask. I found that using it 2 times a week (every other time I washed my hair) improved the state of my hair within two-three weeks! The next time I went into the salon, my stylist told me my hair was looking and feeling A LOT better, and was surprised to learn that I was using a drug-store product! I also found that putting on a shower cap and letting the mask set in for about 20 minutes for a deep condition helped improve the results immensely. The week before my next salon appointment, I would do this mask every time to prepare for the bleaching and the difference was significant.Now, I'm not gonna say this product is magic in a jar, because it takes a combination of things to achieve healthy hair, but Regularly using this Organix Hydrating Intensive Moisture Mask (I went through 5 jars!)+ avoiding heat on my hair (no blow dry or flat irons+ applying coconut oil post shower (also from Organix)+ getting regular trims every 6 weeks= saved my hair and has enabled me to go from a black Level 1 to a blonde Level 8, while maintaining healthy, shiny, long 24" hair (down to my midback). I strongly recommend this product for anyone who wants to get or maintain beautiful, Garnier-Fructis-commercial hair! Good luck ladies ;)

Omg! I love this product!!Ok so I have relaxed African American hair and I have been struggling to find a deep conditioner that will do the trick! Well this is it! I simply wet my hair a little and generously apply the DC to my hair. Then I put a shower cap on my head and a towel. I left in the DC overnight (I also just gone under the dryer for 20 mins) then washed it out. My hair was so soft and so amazing. And this product smells so good!!!!!I jumped on the ogx bandwagon after a friend recommended it and I haven't looked back. I also have the biotin&collgen, coconut milik, moraccan argan oil and and the keratin oil conditioners. Love this brand.

I'm Caucasian and have long straight, fine hair. I had high hopes for this product but unfortunately I couldn't even use it. It is leathery making my hair stiff and unmanageable. Right after I put it on in the shower my hair felt stiff and tangled, feeling like a big chunk of leather. it didn't smooth it out at all. I had to wash it out and use my Purology conditioner to get my hair conditioned. My hair isn't damaged, frizzy or hard to manage naturally, so I'm not sure why it didn't work. I won't be using this product again.

I absolutely love this!! I use it as a deep hair mask once a week and put it on an hour before I shower. I cake it on the bottom half of my hair then clip it up. Then I wash and condition as usual. The smell is Devine! My hair is oily at the roots and dry in the ends, but this makes my hair soft and touchable. When my hair is extra dry feeling, I use a small pea size amount on the ends after my shower as a leave in conditioner then dry and style as usual. Even hubby comments how soft my hair is and how amazing it smells!

I'm not satisfied with the product. It's just a typical hair mask. Didn't even made my hair silky after use.

Before I had kids, I would wash my hair, but not condition, then work this hair mask into my hair. Then I would relax in a bath and read a book, and wash it out after half an hour to an hour. Now that I have kids, I get to do that about once a month when someone is babysitting. It feels like a spa day in my own bathroom. It leaves my hair shiny and soft, but not greasy looking. It doesn't smell quite as good as the macadamia oils, but it does still smell good.

This product doesn't work on my hair, I leave it on for 20 minutes with a shower cap and my hair feels the same after as wheb I dont use it. It may just be because my hair is very damaged but I wouldn't recommend it.

So I am a loyal Organix user, I mix and match the routine with Loreal Proffessional and Nexxus. Organix is pretty tricky, you may like a range but almost hate another.. I bought this mask for my really damaged hair. It did absolutely nothing and I am almost done with this jar. It doesn't quench the dry hair, doesn't hydrate as such too. Once dry, the hair is back to being as 'straw like' as it was. So maybe for not very damaged hair, it works. But if your hair is highly damaged ( read- straightening, coloring, bleaching and then perming) then this is not for you. Get a Repairing product from Nexxus, may work if you are lucky.

great mask for moisturizing without heavy chemicals. smells awesome and a little goes a long way. Would definitely re-purchase. amazing!
