Never going back to foam padding!
This helmet was exactly what I hoped for. I love the material used for the padding as I sweat alot when playing, and it doesn't slide around when slippery as it fits snug. I got tired of throwing away helmets made with that foam. It would deteriorate and soak up sweat, getting pretty nasty. I've played with this helmet two seasons now and its still in awesome shape.I have a slightly larger head (7 5/8 or 7 3/4 when buying a new era cap) and the xl size of this helmet fits me great.

Very lightweight helmet!!!
It was very lightweight and it protects me very well. I chose this helmet because it is also a football helmet manufacturer so I thought if they could protect me from a hit from a 250 pound linemen it could protect me from a fastball. One thing I don’t like is that there is no face protector option from Schutt. I can always just use a c flap though. Overall great lightweight and snug helmet. The sizing is the same as a football helmet.

It worked fine for the season. It is not shiny like the picture.

Bare minimum
Helmet had small scratches all over it very dull. No shine to it whatsoever. Missing an ear piece very disappointed.
