These solar lights have been so nice to use on the north & south sides of my home where it is very dark. It definitely does everything it claims to do. Definitely very nice solar lights with a big solar panel and a large capacity battery. It is bright enough to replace my other wired outdoor lights and it is sensitive enough that when you approach it, it turns on right away without your having to wave your arms in front of it. This is very nice and certainly helps me feel more secure. Those sides of my home get very dark and to have a light turn on when someone walks near it, makes me feel a lot more secure.The solar feature is fabulous...This means all of the sunlight goes to charge the battery and there is plenty of light when motion is detected. Also very good to know. The unit is shipped in the OFF setting. Charge the units by letting them sit in bright sunlight for at least 3 hours. Then, take them to a DARK ROOM. The Mode button will ONLY function when the unit is in darkness!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 These solar motion lights have been awesome! If you need a bright light in a dark area outside, this is definitely an awesome light for you. You will not be disappointed! I think I need to buy a couple more for some other darker areas around my yard👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Though the size appears smaller than some, the light is very bright when motion is sensed. Out of the three modes, I like the "dim all night" setting the best. To me it offer a good deterrent to pests or would be thieves and it is nice the light comes on very bright when motion is sensed. Water resistance is quite high and mounting could not be much easier. A police officer looked at these lights mounted about the house and said the coverage was really good. It is so convenient to have a light in those otherwise dark areas when you need to move around the house at night (e.g. to take the trash out).

For the price point I wasn't expecting top of the line but 2 of the 4 units had problems out of the box. One resolved itself it's first day of sun but the other is still wonky and pretty much decides it's going to do its own thing when it feels like doing it. Sometimes it's a nightlight. Sometimes it works as a motion sensing guide light. Other times it just feels like taking a night off.When they work they give off a pretty bright light. Bright enough you'll go night blind if you happen to be looking at them when they pop on. If they were dependable these would be exactly what I need. Unfortunately they have not been so far and I will most likely be replacing them next spring.

I like that these have the dim mode as so many solar lights don't. I put these in the very back of the yard that gets dark as the porch light doesn't reach there. We get animals back there, and I like to know if something is there as my dog has been skunked twice, and the skunk was hiding in this spot. I can survey the yard with the dim mode before going out. I also think the dim mode might discourage animals from trying to hide there since it is fairly lit.There are brighter lights on the market, but they are also more expensive. These are good for the price. These add a little sense of security to the yard.

I bout 12 of these lights and after weeks of sunlight only 3 of them worked. I returned all 12 and they were replaced. After 2 weeks of sunlight, only 1 light works! That's a 83% failure rate. I have the same lights on my house that have worked flawlessly for over 2 years. Evidently Amazon got a bad batch of lights. No wonder they're on sale. Don't waste your time on these, find something else,

This product has three programmable modes - two motion activated and one from sundown.I needed it to turn on on sundown.The problem started after about three weeks - the mode resets to motion activated. First, it was one unit acting up, now both are doing the same behavior. I program it back to sundown mode, and it resets itself to motion activated in one or two days, essentially rendering it useless for my purpose.The vendor referred me to Amazon, and Amazon support offered me $10 partial credit for the defects. The cost of this product was $25.99 and it lasted about 6 weeks - not a good investment.

The first night I thought I’d made a mistake due to brightness, after another full day of charging and seeing how bright they actually are, I’ve been very impressed with these lights. I ordered 4 more a week later. I have them around the pool pump, deck stairways and my favorite use, one on each side of my grilling area. No more need for a flashlight when cooking after dark.Follow up: Going on one year later, these lights still work as well as when they were new. Very happy with the purchase.

This is decent for the price. They’re bright and the motion sensor works. I can tell you that I charged them up just to test them out and then they sat on my table in the box (lid propped open almost no exposure to sunlight) and they were still going off a week later when anyone would walk by them.
