I am a COTA and this toy is great for kiddos with scissor skill goals. My pre-K students love it and it can be graded to meet students at their present levels. Would definitely recommend. I love that the tongs stay put so the apples don’t fall out once they’re secured, which builds confidence in the kids.

This product is AMAZING! It is easy to clean and can withstand constant COVID cleaning chemicals. I am a school-based OT and my students LOVE this toy. I love it because it works on endless skills. I like to use it before I ask a child to cut with scissors during my session to help with the concept of open/shut of their scissors. For some of my students it is a breeze and they like to use it as a fun toy to play after a session and for others it is a big challenge and I can actually see the difference it makes with their development. I recently lost an apple and was able to receive a replacement apple thanks to their fantastic online support service. Will be ordering more toys from Hungry Cutters!

My 3 and 4-year old girls loved it. While I read the directions, my older daughter easily figured it out and then taught her sister. The tongs to remove the apples are not hand-specific, so both my left handed and right handed daughter were easily able to use them. There are multiple skills to be learned from this game and my girls won’t put it away. Thanks Hungry Cutters, I will be ordering other toys!

This is a very sturdy and cute product. Can't wait to use it with my daycare tots during our apple week- apple harvest. Everything is very sturdy and brightly painted. The worms are tiny, watch carefully for small children. The tools are very sturdy also. I had fun playing on it.... 😉

Great product, we just didn’t used the tool

As a pediatric occupational therapist, this game is my new best friend! It’s so versatile and works on so many functional skills. I love that you can use the “scissors” to pick apples off the tree and work on color sorting, pre-scissor skills, and fine motor coordination. And the bird tweezers are the perfect addition to complete the memory matching game that’s included! A must have for all OTs and parents with small kiddos!

As a pediatric OT and toddler mama, I can't rave enough about this apple picking game! It offers so many developmental skills from bilateral coordination, color matching, grading force, and so much more. There are many ways to adapt it for younger kids (my 2 year old loves playing this) all the way up to kindergarteners. Not only that, the quality of the product is great. It's a wonderful gift for birthdays and Christmas!
