Safavieh Home Collection Silva French Silver Headboard (Queen)

I am pretty handy, but even that being said this is a breeze to install. All hardware, allen wrench, and a little wrench is included. It took approximately 15 minutes to assemble. Shipping was very good from the third party shipper. The box had a large hole in it, but the headboard was protected by the foam pieces so no damage. All the parts were still there because it was packaged in a way that they could not fall out the hole. I bought the color Antique Iron, which is similar to black, but with sort of a grey wash over it. I was not sure what to expect but I do like it. All in all a good experience.

The Antique Iron headboard is beautiful (very distressed gray color) and seems pretty sturdy - that is how it earned any stars from me. However, it arrived missing one leg and all of the installation hardware. I called Amazon and all they can do is have me return the whole thing (I already unboxed a huge headboard that I actually like...no thank you). I tracked down Safavieh and they do have parts, but they can’t help you over the phone - you have to write to them through their website. I just did that. We’ll see if a leg ever arrives. What a pain!!!

This is lovely and sturdy but nothing close to what I would call French silver. It is definitely olive green.

This headboard is gorgeous! I wasnt expecting it to be quite so nice to be honest but it's perfect. Easy to assemble, sturdy, lovely colour. It was just what my room needed to finish it off. I'm contemplating buying another for my guest bedroom I like it so much.

Love this headboard! They didn’t give the right screws to screw onto the bed frame so I had to go to Home Depot and get screws and bolts. It is kind of wobbly but pushed it against the wall and it is fine. Not as tall as it looks in the picture and not as dark but otherwise I love this! I have attached picture assembled on my Queen size bed.

I absolutely love this headboard. Sturdy, easy to assemble, easy enough for me to move and put together by myself. I purchased it knowing I was going to paint it to make it a more textured gold antique color and so I chose the lightest color option. It looked almost like it had a gold tone to it in the photo and so that made the most sense. After a coat of champagne sprayed paint and some texturing and touch-ups, it is the perfect addition to my space.I do NOT recommend this color if you are looking for something silver. French Silver really isn't a good description. It had almost green undertones to it and just wasn't an attractive color. This is definitely the best option for a color if you plan to paint it because it is the lightest option.

I got this in antique iron as the photo and descriptions from others implied it was black. It is actually a white/gray piece with what appears to be a black wash over it, and the wash isn't done very well. There are small chunks of metal missing in a few places on the visible part of the headboard. This was easy to assemble and install. It does not come with the pieces necessary to attach it to a bed frame. Great concept, poor execution.

The product is beautiful and better quality than I was honestly expecting. It took me three weeks to decide to buy it.We got a king size in the Gun metal and it looks amazing! It took me a while to find an actual bed frame that it would work well with but the Best Price Mattress 14 Inch Premium Steel Bed Frame/Platform Bed with 2 headboard Brackets (amazon) has worked wonders and did not take long at ALL to put together.
