Weleda Wild Rose Deodorant

Excellent, natural, and effective deodorant! I finally found a natural deodorant that works and that's gentle to my underarms. I love the natural formula and citrus scent. This deodorant works by neutralizing my underarm odor and reducing my sweating. It's very easy to use: I spray 3 times on each clean underarm, it smells great, it dries quickly, provides protection, and it doesn't stain my clothes. I like the tinted, sturdy glass bottle, it also protects the ingredients. I feel fresh using this deodorant. My son also uses this deodorant and is very pleased with it. The 3.4 oz bottles last a very long time. I definitely feel there's value in this purchase!

The Weleda Citrus Deodorant has a wonderfully NATURAL citrus smell that is simply amazing. Most products have a chemical-artificial citrus smell, or a citrus smell mixed with other smells like fruits or flowers, completely ruining the experience. While flowery smelling products are easy to find, good, natural citrus smelling products aren't easy to find. This ones rules. It's natural with none of the common offenders found commonly in deodorants. I love the glass bottles. They are a nice touch. You can re-use and re-purpose them or recycle them. I re-use them. The bottles are really well made and reminds me of when we were little, when almost everything was packaged in quality containers. Folks, there is no such thing as a 12 hour effective natural deodorant. To be hyper effective, a product has to block your sweat glands like most mainstream commercial products do. However, that is not good for your body in the long run. The other solution is heavy use of chemicals, which again is not very good for your health. Thirdly, a good strong artificial chemical smell can mask the rest. I don't fancy smelling like my deodorant, unless it's a wonderful smell like this one. If I want to make myself smell good, I have perfumes for that, and I hate it when my shampoo/conditioner/deodorant competes with, and ruins my perfume/cologne. Yes, this product is not as effective as a chemical-laden, sweat gland-blocking product, but the two cannot be compared. They are two different animals. I re-apply as needed and I don't need to remove most clothes to re-apply. I can re-apply by pulling the neckline of most tops, or if it's short sleeved, by pulling the sleeve. It's a spray so you don't have to reach the arm pit. And if some gets on your clothes? It's never stained any of my clothes, and unlike even some high end designer perfumes that you can never get the smell out of clothes, this smell comes off in the was very easily. And what a pleasure it is to re-apply! You get to bask in the smell that, because it's a spray, invariably reaches your nose every time you do. Each individual's mileage will vary as sweat strength/smell varies greatly among individuals, in my case a spray every 6-8 hours is sufficient. I often use this as my perfume as well, i.e. I spray my under arm area liberally, and skip the perfume. Ok, I'll admit that there have been days that I've sprayed this on my stomach and neck as well to use it as a perfume. The smell is just so great folks, if you are into citrus smells, that is. It dries almost immediately and is very comfortable. You don't have a wet or slimy armpit like with most other products. There is absolutely no white marks on your armpit or clothes! None! Until I found this I was using Miessence Aroma-free doeodorant (I couldn't find a smell on their line that I liked), which was ok, but this is way better. Miessence is a roll-on and you have that roll-on feeling until it dries. Even when it dried, you could "feel it." Which is the case with most mainstream deodorants as well. Basically, the mainstream products work by covering your armpit with a thick layer of product. Pros: 1. Great, natural citrus smell. 2. Non-aerosol. 3. Re-usable, environmentally friendly glass bottle. 4. Good for you and good for your health. 5. Lasts 6-8 hours (for me) 6. Doesn't ruin clothes by staining. 7. Doesn't ruin clothes by the smell attaching to the clothes permanently. 8. Dries immediately and is very comfortable from them moment you spray it on. 9. No white marks on your armpit or your clothes. Cons: 1. I don't have any cons only because I do not expect a natural product to perform like a chemical-laden product.

Great scent that lasts all day for me. Pricey but, I want it.

This is a fantastic deodorant! Trust me when I say I’ve tried MANY natural deodorants, to the point that I am so exhausted I just accept being stinky. With this deodorant though, I don’t have to! I absolutely love the citrus scent and would definitely say it is neither masculine or feminine, just nice and fresh. The downside to this deodorant though, is that it doesn’t last all day for me (although I do work in a tropical climate indoors, very humid). For absolutely no stink, I would say a solid 4 hours. It does work to reapply though, but I have not found that to be convenient enough for me so I didn’t do it often, and just dealt with a minor odor toward the end of a long work day. Another minor downside is that since it is alcohol based, it can burn/irritate a bit when applied right after shaving. It’s also too bad that the lovely citrus scent completely disappears after just a minute or two. In all honesty, I was content to keep this as my permanent choice of deodorant until I tried the Thai Crystal Spray on a whim, and that works even better for me (all day). I would definitely still recommend this one though, since everyone’s body chemistry is a bit different and it’s worth a try.

Wow! This is a great product. I am allergic to metals (like the aluminum in deodorant) and am very health conscious. I love that this does not have chemicals like other deodorants that may cause cancer. This seems to be a lot safer. Sweat: I sweat 25% of what I use to. I think normal deodorants increase sweating because your body reacts to the chemicals. Smell: This has a strong smell initially (but a nice floral smell). Once the smell dries you can only notice it if you smell your armpit. Sweating does not cause the smell to amplify. Transition: At first it was awkward because this does not coat your armpit like other deodorants so you feel bare (like you forgot to put deodorant on). Once you get use to the feel it is great and I have never had a desire to go back to my normal deodorant. Use: I spray each armpit 1 or 2 times in the morning. That is it. If I am going to go to the gym I might spray each again beforehand. I have worked 12 hour shifts at the hospital with only ever spraying my armpits before my shift. (note: it may burn for a couple seconds if you spray immediately after shaving your armpits so wait awhile or just be prepared). Effective: It truly has stopped my sweating. After going to the gym or work you will still smell from normal activity but for me, my sweating was decreased. Comparison: I have tried other natural deodorants and have never been able to stick it out. This one is different and I love using it. I no longer get rashes under my arms and my arm pit sweating has almost stopped completely.

Wish I had read the reviews its odor disappears within minutes...

Desodorante welkeda cítrico, solo tengo Buenos comentarios. Tenía problemas con el mal olor a sudor, llevaba tiempo probando y nada me daba resultados, obviamente porque los desodorantes del mercado tienen muchos químicos y eso me estaba enfermando a nivel preocupantes, investigue y encontré está marca, la probé y fue lo mejor de lo mejor, es fresca huele delicioso a cítrico, te higuenisa por horas, ya no tengo mal olor ni la ropa queda manchada ni con ese olor que antes era tan difícil de quitar. Total ente recomendado, además no es spray del dañino es un difusor con lo cual es bueno hasta para el medio ambiente, su botella es de cristal ,punto para el medio ambiente y eso denota calidad para que esté bien conservado, es verde así que está protegido, todo es perfecto. Dura un montón de tiempo. Probadlo por favor lo recomiendo Ojalá os sea tan útil como a mí.

das auch wirkt OHNE Alu-Salze und sonstige hautunfreundliche Substanzen zu enthalten. Ich habe einen schweißtreibenden Job; das Weleda Deo mit Wildrosenduft lässt einen auch nach getaner Arbeit noch ziemlich "blumig" riechen. Müffeln tut bei mir nichts, obwohl ich schon tüchtig schwitze. Klar die Achseln sind nicht "trocken" aber das hatte ich bei einem herkömmlichen Deo auch nicht. Mir gefällt die Philosophie von Wala,Weleda und Dr. Hauschka, ich mag die Produkte und vertrage sie gut. Schön, das ich jetzt auch noch das Deo aus dieser Serie habe. Das einzige Manko, nach der Rasur nicht sofort verwenden; es könnte auf der Haut brennen. Und die dazugehörende Duschpflege ist auch super toll!

Mi desodorante favorito, éste y el de limón son muy frescos, con un olor muy delicado se secan en el momento de utilizarlos, suaves, no irritan y duraderos.

Uso il deodorante spray al limone di Weleda da un po’ di tempo e ne sono molto soddisfatta. Il profumo è fresco, agrumato e naturale, per nulla artificiale o invadente: dà subito una sensazione di pulito e freschezza, perfetta soprattutto nei mesi caldi. Apprezzo molto la formula naturale, senza sali di alluminio, che rispetta la pelle e non provoca irritazioni. Non blocca la sudorazione, ma aiuta a neutralizzare efficacemente i cattivi odori, lasciando la pelle traspirare. Lo spray è pratico e si asciuga rapidamente senza lasciare residui sui vestiti. Ovviamente, essendo un deodorante naturale, potrebbe non essere sufficiente per chi cerca una protezione “strong” per tutta la giornata, ma per un uso quotidiano è ottimo. Lo ricomprerò sicuramente.
