Nice product - fits anywhere (practically) and the switchable color is really convenient
A hundred dollars for twelve recessed lights with junction boxes really seemed like a risk when considering that traditionally recessed can lighting is around five times the price. But at $8 a light and Prime, it was worth trying out. I will say that these are inexpensively made and that where a penny could be shaved it was. But all of that is hidden away and never seen once installed. For instance the junction box is made of some of the thinnest metal I've seen used for such a box but it's enough to do the job. The length of wire that's supplied to connect to is barely long enough to work with - it could have easily been another 4 inches longer but it's not. The lights ship with wire nuts which are adequate but it would be easier to use the push in connectors when wiring because of the tight space. On the negative side of things, there were two lights that were "damaged" - there's a plug between the junction box and fixture and in one case the male end of the plug didn't have enough plastic injected and so it was formed without threads - the plug still worked but there was no mechanical interlock. In the second case, again with the plug, the gasket that seals the connection was missing. Neither issue was a showstopper. On the plus side you only need about 3/4" clearance to install these counting the thickness of the plaster board so they can go pretty much anywhere without regard to what's in the ceiling to interfere. And maybe most important is the color selecting switch - it's impossible to know how a room is going to look given how the color of light interacts with the other colors in the room. With these you can try out five different colors and pick the one you like after you've installed them.

Don't last, but Nice lights but don't
Lights look good, and i like the light setting options, but the QUALITY is not the greatest.. like they say, you get what you pay for.I installed 10 lights and only 6 still work aftrr 1 week, they stopped working.I found that the wires coming of the circuit board to the light are not soldered but glued and they are coming lose, or off on their own.So be aware, you may get lucky, or may not get lucky, with these lights working. So one cool thing is that the vendor reached out to me on their own, and asked me if I would like to replace them, or if I wanted part of my money back since 7 went bad. I took the replacement I really liked the lights. Ut was very easy and I received them fast in 2 days.Hope these last.

Test before installing! Two of 12 units did't work but Customer Support sent replacements...
TLDR: test before installing, customer service will replace any parts. Therefore, definitely a great option! After installing these, I found that two of the 12 units did not function. These units consist of 2 pieces: an LED module and a junction box.To determine what failed, I took the LED modules that didn't initially work and connected them other junction boxes. They worked.I took LED modules from other units that worked and connected them to the 'suspect' junction boxes. They didn't work. This clearly shows that the junction boxes were the defective parts here. The only way to contact customer support was to leave a voicemail message so I wasn't hopeful about getting any help but I was wrong. Sometimes I really enjoy being wrong :)They sent me replacement units and everything is working well!I love the selectable color temperature. When shopping for ceiling lights, I wasn't initially sure what exact color temperature to order for each room but this have me the ability to buy now, test and choose later. They are plenty bright for our home application and I've got them working with Kasa and Lutron dimmer switches. For the installation, I used an adjustable hole saw purchased on Amazon, electrical tape, larger wire nuts (the included ones can't accommodate 12 gage wire), wire strippers, a razor knife, lineman's pliers, and a fish tape. Everything went pretty well. The biggest challenges were fishing the wires and resharpening the hole saw blades after every four or five holes that I drilled into the sheetrock.

They stop working and flicker
They look nice and are bright. 4 of them went out and the rest flicker once in a while and if dimmed. The seller customer service was a pain. Would not refund full amount after 2 weeks of talking. Amazon customer service went above and beyond with being on my side. Don't buy these lights.

They do not last
Installation is easy. But longevity is TERRIBLE. We have had to replace 6 of these lights since being installed in the past 45 days. Bad thing is it happened after we had put in the insulation.

DO NOT LAST LONG!
Please be warned, these lights do not last. Out of 12 installed light and power assemblies 5 have failed within the course of approximately 4 months. It starts out with the light intermittently not coming on. From there you can lower the light down, and with the power supply box in your hand gently tap on the side of the power supply box and the light will flicker on and off. Basically, something internally to their power supply boxes are failing (all external connections to house power are tight). One after another, and it has only been a few months. I am lucky that I originally ordered two boxes of twelve, however I am quickly making my way through the second box. Customer support does offer to send more, but I do not want more of these. I will ultimately buy a better unit elsewhere. Also to note, these lights are not thin enough. They will work if you are installing them in drywall not near any studs. If you intend to put a light where there is a stud (joist/support), the depth of this light will hit the stud and the light will stick out unevenly. There are other manufacturers that off slimmer versions of recessed LED lights, those are the ones you want. This has overall been a terrible purchase.

Didn’t last too long. :-/
2 out of the 12 lights have gone bad and it’s only been 4 weeks since installed. Not sure why they seem like they’ve overheated and warped the plastic on the edge trim (see pic). The trim edge should be flush and straight. I will talk to the manufacturer and hope they can replace the lights. Other than this, they are easy to install and produce good lighting. Hope this review helps!
