OK, it sounds pretty bad. But - these socks baby your feet. My boots fit just fine and they're comfortable. However, when I get back in after doing whatever I was doing, I always had to take the boots of to get comfortable. NOT with these socks. (unless it was a LOOONG time wearing them)The people that designed these knew how to make them fit for real people that use their feet and not just sitting around.

They seem pricey at first, but the last so long that we will continue to buy them

These thorlo socks are super comfortable and well padded.

Sometimes I want a little more protection for my legs in cold weather than the hiking skirt and crew socks offer. This product works to keep my legs warm and cushions my feet nicely. In general the only socks I wear for hiking and around the house is Thorlos and have many years.

Have 2 different foot sizes, about 9 1/2 and 11. Ordered 1 medium pair, 1 large pair. Tops a little loose, better with first wash.

Thorlos socks are moisture wicking and have add padding in the footbeds. Plus the are made in the U.S.A.
