Mongoose Trace Youth/Adult Folding Commuter Kick Scooter, Ages 8 Years and Up, Lightweight, Multiple Colours

Bought this to replace my daughter's old scooter with its rusting parts and bolts that pop loose after a while. Straight out of the box you realise you're dealing with a quality item. The heft and the weight scream of a sturdiness you can depend on and the wheels are a good height from the ground. I am about 173 cm with a weight of 90kgs and the stepping board didn't even bend or give with my full weight on it. A comfortable gliding experience with handlebars that turn easily for both myself and my 8 year old daughter standing 2/3 my height and weighing less than half of me. The last thing that catches my eye is the traditional step brake over the back wheel. We've seen so many of these snap off. The Mongoose brake appears to be equally as sturdy as the board you step on.My daughter (and I) have both enjoyed gliding along on this fellar. At the same time I could see myself snapping it in half and easily stowing it under my desk at work. A good buy

Had a small hiccup with the item (missing pin) but it was promptly dealt with in a very professional manner. Great item and great seller.

We bought this as a gift and was slightly nervous as didn’t know the brand and it was on offer. It’s brilliant and nephew is delighted. We bought for an eight year old but with adjustable handle bars should last for a good few years. It’s sturdy, looks great and adults can use too. I don’t find the foldable action particularly easy to do but others don’t seem to have any issues

I bought two of these as both kids close in age. First one easy to put together wrapped really well. However second one seemed a bit stiff, then I noticed a little rusty and wasn’t wrapped like the other. Putting the handle bars in wasn’t as easy. I think I’ve had a return on one and brand new on next as there was a clear difference. Will know tomorrow when kids try them out if any further issues. Hope not as will spoil Xmas. Moral of the story. Check the packing soon as received.
