Poor quality...
I don’t think this is a good quality leather. It feels like a piece of cardboard and really light in weight, almost like cork fillers and not as a single piece leather. Furthermore, although it arrived brand new, the “leather?” Was extremely dry. After 3 wears, the finish is beginning to bubble and starting to peel off.... I am now beginning to wonder, if I had conditioned the belt before wear, would it have made a difference...PS: I am not wearing this belt at its tightest setting nor do I wear this belt for heavy duty work. Just normal daily wear to work 3 times and the surface is beginning to peel off. Any slight bent even along the Curvature of your body will break this fragile leather.Pant size 30 slim build, 32 belt size at the middle hole. (Loosely snug).Belt color in wheat.Overall thought, disappointed. This belt is more of a fashion piece that is fragile to the touch and Cannot be worn as a functioning pant keeper upper. Life expectancy for the belt is probably 10 wears and then it’ll fall apart and lose the fashion aspect of this belt. Do not recommend.

This is made of "GENUINE LEATHER" not actual leather. DO NOT BUY! GARBAGE.
This belt is made of GENUINE leather. The description of the product simply states LEATHER which in my book is a bait & switch. Genuine Leather is a cheap material made of pressed scraps and does not last longer than a few months as it tends to delaminate under stress. I've made this mistake twice in my life before, once with a belt that just looked like dookie after after about a week and another was with a watchband that fell apart after I washed my hands while wearing my watch. "Genuine Leather" is garbage and shouldn't be used for anything that is going to be stressed in any way such as a belt buckle. Google it to verify before buying this belt. This seller should be ashamed of themselves.

Leather???? Not!
I bought this belt because I liked the style and it said the belt was leather. I received it, and there was a tag on the belt that said the belt was made of leather. Unfortunately, the belt is NOT made of leather. If is a plastic-like material and doesn't look like the pictures. if I wasn't using it just around the house, I would return it. Sad that it was misrepresented.

poor quality, broke in 5 weeks
I got this belt about 5 weeks ago and it already broke. The tongue part of the buckle broke (see picture). I didn't wear it every day, and only used it as a belt to hold up my jeans on my waist. I really liked the size, and color of this belt but the quality of it is absolute garbage. I would recommend buying a different belt from a different manufacturer. This poor quality has made me reconsider buying a timberland jacket and boots.

Designed for big waists, sturdy cowhide leather belt - not as stiff or thick as some other brands but offers special features
Sturdy cowhide leather belt designed for bigger waists. I've worked with leather in the past and used belt blanks from Tandy leather stores going back to the 1970s, so this belt is much more "floppy" than the thick & stiff leather belt blanks of old & slightly thinner than a Carhartt leather work belt. It is made in India.I like the leather sleeve on the outer part of the belt buckle. It will prevent the belt from wearing as much when cinching it for tightness (big men need to do this so pants will stay up). The belt buckle is attached by folded-over-and-sewn leather (no snaps) so it will not suddenly break away. I ordered one size larger than jeans and it fits well. Leather will stretch when pressure or moisture (water, sweat) is applied to it, so you will need a hole punch to put extra holes in it as it stretches. It is best to alternate belts and give each a "rest" for a week so they dry out and shrink somewhat. Good price for a leather belt. This is the 2nd belt we've purchased from Timberland. It lasts and lasts but the belt loop came off after two years. We could have stitched it back if I still had my leather crafting toolkit with the special thread & needles, but I don't so we just ordered a new belt. I think any shoe repair place could also have fixed the loop.

thin
might be okay for just wearing out on the town. not good for working though. very thin, it is not made from the same leather as the boots, and don't buy 4 sizes bigger. thats ridiculous.I bought this belt thinking it was gonna hold my pants better for when on concealed carrying. I was wrong. And the cheap belt I got from walmart works and feels better.

Buy this belt
Finally, a belt sturdy enough to take some torque and not deform.Ok, I'm a bigger guy, I like to really get that belt tight to prevent plumbers crack and keep my shirt tucked in (also a public service). Most belts start to delaminate or fall apart really quick. Not the timberland. 4 months, no sign of stretch or deformation. Will buy again!
