Very Enjoyable.
This is just under two hours of excellent entertainment. Sam Rockwell is very much the lead performer here and he plays a similar characterization to the role he played in 3 Billboards. It’s quite surreal in places and very comedic. The all-star cast blend perfectly and give you a fun night in. This is another excellent offering from the so talented Martin McDonough. At the end of this film I thought to myself - I really enjoyed that.

Good film, good watch, interesting ending
I enjoyed this movie very much. As Matthew McConaughey is a favourite actor of mine I knew it was a no-brainer. He always takes on the character in any and all of his films. I have no hesitation in recommending this film.

Classic
This is basically everything you could want and expect in a Tarantino film; lots of violence and gore and plenty of dark humour. Personally I think the humour is what makes this film stand out. If you enjoy Tarantino's other works then you'll probably enjoy this.

A Bit Average, IMO
It's a shame that this follows the In Bruges line, but in my opinion, it doesn't quite match up to that stonker of a film.True, it's got some fantastic characters in it (who - spoiler alert! - invariably meet some sticky, gruesome end): Walken is suitably menacing in the film, and steals the show from my perspective. Mr. Farrell does show some more tender moments, but it's really the supporting cast that make it a better film than it would have been without them: maybe by casting so many massive stars it became a difficult balancing act, but it's an OK film otherwise. If you want some hilarity, some gore, and a good laugh then take it as this an nothing more: it's a pretty stock movie from a plot perspective, but does give you a good giggle constantly throughout it's time on screen.

A great metafilm with a very dark sense of humour
A great metafilm with a very dark sense of humour. Plot is well written, not overly complicated but always interesting enough to keep you interested with good pacing throughout. Farrell gives a subdued performance allowing others to bounce off him whilst Walken is so wonderfully emotionless he's almost a self-parody but both are outshone by Sam Rockwell who steals the show. Although not as in-depth as In Bruges was, the director still manages to make yet another great film

Disappointing movie...
Considering the cast, we were surprised by the lack of substance and plot. We actually stopped half-way after realising it wasn't getting any better...

I'd give this seven stars if I could!
Favourite film of the year for me. Very unexpected.Colin Farrell's struggling screen writer is hilarious. The more his world unravels the better the film becomes. I don't want to delve too deeply into the story, but just want to say that all of the performances are impeccable. If you like stories where the characters get into situations they just can't get out of and wind up just having to see it through to the end, no matter what, this is for you.
