Fun and versatile!
These are really cool! But like the instructions tell you, the quality of potting mix makes all the difference in sustaining moisture balance. I use a premium soilless mix of peat and perlite and add some moisture gel to keep my planters from drying out. I use this mixture for all my containers large or small. These are small containers but unlike my terra cotta pot, you can put them anywhere. They require daily watering the same as my clay and plastic pots the same size. I have strawberries in one set and Wave Petunias in the others. They are great for entertaining! I hang the petunias under my patio table umbrella like the photo on company Facebook page. My guests are WOW'd.
