DO NOT BUY!!!! PLEASE READ ALL A7III OWNERS
Now, while you may see a lot of five star reviews below, not one of them is genuine (Google channel 4 Amazon reviews) I Stupidly believed the reviews and purchased these batteries.I have been purchasing third party batteries for many years for my equipment as spares.. But I don't think these things could even be classed as batteries.I fully charged the batteries, and as always went to run my usage test, I do this to see how much time I get from them. You may not believe this, but the battery literally dropped like a countdown timer. Both batteries were pretty much dead in 15/20 minutes. If you were thinking of using this charger for the original Sony batteries you may have, also, you can think again, it doesn't read the power output correctly.Upon approaching the seller about the issue.. I got possibly the most stupid answer I've ever received, they told me to drain them and recharge them.. You know, like the debunked myths of old. Please, do yourself and your camera a favour and AVOID at all costs.

Compatible with the Sony a7iii 3.01 Firmware
I wanted to leave a review to confirm that these are completely compatible with the Sony a7iii 3.01 firmware. No warning messages, and both the battery icon and charge percentage are shown on the camera's display; exactly the same behaviour as with the Sony battery that came with the camera.I can't really speak to battery life yet as I've not run these down, but so far they seem comparable to the originals. The charger is high quality as well. I'm very impressed with this kit.

Very nice
RavPower batteries are the 3rd party brand to go for IMHO, they work no fuss & these in my Sony A7III with firmware 3.01 do not give a warning about not being a Sony battery which is a bonus. Only wish is that it was a fast charger rather than just a standard trickle charger taking 4hrs from flat to fullEdit: With the latest 3.10 firmware I now get a warning message everytime i use the camera about the batteries :(

OK, but not ideal, yet reasonably priced.
I wanted a charger really as my Sony A7 iii didn't come with one - only a gizmo that enabled charging within the camera. I decided on this item as the price is reasonable in comparison to Sony's own batteries and charger however there is a trade-off as these RAV batteries don't have the staying power of the original. As an estimate I'd say the Rav battery lasts about 1/2 to 2/3 as long as the Sony battery (which is a tough act to follow as it lasts and lasts) which isn't too bad really as long as you are aware. The charger itself is very flimsy and does not inspire confidence. Also be aware that the input for this charger is 5v with an output of 8.4v so it does not plug into the mains and a usb type lead is therefore used which will connect to a suitable dc supply. Overall I at least now have the ability to charge a spare battery separately from the camera which is what I wanted as well as now having 2 spares albeit with lower capacity.

Light and compact charger. Batteries work OK, but not fully compatible with A7R IV
I wanted a travel charger and had read great reviews of this, so decided to buy this combo packThe charger is very light and compact. It is powered by USB, and includes a micro-USB cable. Charging 2 batteries takes about 4 hours, or 3 hours for 1. The charger works fine with genuine Sony batteries. Due to the very light weight, this is great for travel, and the charger can operate from any USB, including a laptop, power bank or phone charger.I have tested these batteries in a Sony a7R iv (firmware 1.0).They give a battery warning message the first time you power on the camera after changing the battery. However, once you dismiss the warning message, the camera works OK (but you don't get a battery percentage - just a crude gauge display) - and you only have to dismiss the message once after swapping the battery.Because the battery display doesn't work properly, I've not risked running them too low, so can't accurately comment on battery life, but it doesn't appear to be much shorter than an original battery.

Plenty of juice for little money
I was a bit sceptical at the beginning as why would you like to spend houndreds of pounds on your camera to just to spend 20-30£ on your spare battery. But after using these during the wedding I'am more than happy with performance. Yes these batteries were giving me a little bit less power than original 1 but it was still enough to cover 4-5hours of shooting. Batteries fit into camera without any issues. Also there is no warning on the camera screen, they just operate as original batteries. Charger is very portable as well.Overall I'm very happy with the purchase and wish I bought these earlier.

mine works fine with no warning message Sony A9ii fw2
Recently brought a pair of these batteries with charger for my Sony A9ii . The camera came with firmware 1 so before updating I emailed RAV regarding the compatibility of these batteries with the newer firmware . They asked for the batteries serial number and after checking they confirmed my batteries was the newer version thats compatible with fw2. After updating the camera and checking I was happy to see no warning message . The charger is convenient and comes in useful being able to be used with a USB supply . The life of the batteries is pretty good , not as long as the originals but for the price offer great value for money

Rav vs Sony, it’s onnnnnnn!
I love these and they are completely compatible with the Sony A7iii camera. I know some people bought other brands and were having problems with their cameras freezing or some incompatibility message would show intermittently. Not with the these babies. The design is lovely and they feel like quality batteries to the touch. The fact that these come with a charging dock is a welcome relief as the A7iii doesn’t..... thank you RavPower! In terms of battery life they seem really good. I cant really directly compare them to the Sony version because I’ve mixed and matched them in a camera grip. But for the price of these (plus a charger) who’s gonna go for the Sony version for one battery... at double the price... and no charger... eccentric millionaires maybe 🤷♂️ Basically what I’m saying is, for the price, these are quality.
