I bought this item to save space in our suitcase rather than taking packets of disposable swim nappies on holiday. The various velcro and popper fastenings mean it can be adjusted to fit just right and stays in place. My daughter is 18 months old and I use the middle fastenings so am sure this will fit her to the 30 month age as stated. I have not yet experienced a "number 2" incident so cannot comment but the fact it can be undone like a nappy rather than having to be pulled down the legs like pants leads me to believe it would be much better and less messy should that occur! Would certainly recommend this product

I like that it expands as my baby grows and it is easy to put on and take off
