Cupcake Queen (Kylie Jean) Paperback – March 1, 2015

These are the cutest stories, and have at least one moral in each one. My 6 year old loves them and we read several chapters a night. We’ve read at least 7 of these books now and each one is good!

What can you say about Kylie Jean? It's a good wholesome book series for young girls and my daughter loves them. Reading one of these books to her I find myself reading "just one more chapter" to see what happens next.

My 6 year old daughter loves this series! I was happy to find it for less than at Barnes and Noble.

I chose to read this book for my read aloud at the beginning of the school year to emphasize making connections. The class can relate to Kylie Jean and are asking to have a tea party. Thanks Marci!

Girls love cute cupcakes, and great stories about other girls who are staying busy in positive ways. the Kylie Jean series is a great set to have for the summer.

My students enjoyed this book

I'm a little bit of a rebel, so I don't like girly stereotypes. I was afraid that was what I was going to get with this story. But I was pretty amazed of the positive attitudes. I love that the Mom is always reminding her to be beautiful on the inside, and I love that she keeps looking for better solutions.I do believe it is a little bit difficult to expect every reader to get the slang, but I know some times that is part of the fun of reading. I know the brain mechanism of creating the dialogue some times only works out loud, so who cares if I'm representing a pinky pinky girl.
