Q: My cam is 1/2`` long, from bottom of base to bottom of cam. Is this cam flush with bottom of base of unit? Photo looks like it?

Hello D. Yes it should be possible. The lever inside from the middle I measured is 0.75” so when you turn it out you still have a 3/8” notch. Best regards

Q: This works for slide left to open windows. Is there one for slide right to open windows?

I bought these window locks awhile ago. They were used to replace locks on my travel trailer slide windows. These locks worked on both left and right sliding windows by inverting them and they worked fine. The old latches were a different style and harder to operate.

Q: Can I change the orientation of the handle for the window sliding to the right? This one looks like for the left sliding window.

No, the orientation of the handle cannot be changed.
