Nice Digital Level
Pretty nice little level. I bought a stud finder from this manufacturer and really liked it, so I gave the digital level a try as well. This is a very affordable unit that makes the bubble level a thing of the past. It comes with a pouch to keep it protected and it also comes with batteries! It has built in magnets in the bottom so it will stick to metal. It also has the "v" groove in the bottom so you can use it accurately on pipe as well. Seems to be accurate, tried it out at a few different angles. It comes pre calibrated from the factory, but I tried manually calibrating it as well. Simple process, just hit the right buttons and put it on a flat surface. Wait until the next number appears then flip it 180 degrees and hit the button and then calibration is complete.I have also used other ones in the past and I never liked how they showed an angle, then a negetive angle for the opposite direction tilt. It is ok for large obvious angles, but if you are putting it on something close to level "flat" or at a 90 deg angle, then you are not sure if it is tilted .01deg forward or backward. You then have to look it up in the manual and figure out which way the positive and negetive refer too, or over tilt it. Then you don't use it for a few months and then have to go through the same process. This one has an image that clearly states which way the tilt is from level, or 90 deg making it super easy. Glad I bought this, especially for doing stuff around the house like hanging pictures, setting fence posts, studs in walls, etc. It works great for accurately setting your saw blade angle too. Just zero it on the table or bed, then stick it to the blades with the built in magnets and set your saw blade angle. Worked especially good on my portable saw because the table is never truely level with water level. The display uses the illuminated 7 segment style lcd which is clearly visible and readable and should allow this unit to have a very long battery life. Only time will tell exactly how long battery life is.

Works as it should!
This is a great little device. I found it to be easy to put the batteries in and just start using it. (batteries included, a great bonus!!) Compact AND comes with it's own storage pouch. There's a strong magnet in the bottom of the device which comes in handy if you're leveling something metal - you can go hands free. (I assume keep the magnet away from your phone and electronics.) As for viewing angles, I found there to be almost no distortion when viewing from above, below, and to the right of the device. To the left of the device the screen starts to look faded a bit, but for leveling I'm always standing straight on anyway. Great device!!Pros:Instance reaction to changing angleBright Screen for easy readingBatteries includedStorage pouch includedMagnet for metal-hands-freeCompact

Typing this on a glass table
I did a few quick things to check it, and it works very well.I have a glass topped table, and I did this test with it leveled and also repeated it tipped 10 degreesDisclaimer: I used to calibrate and certify instrumentation for 15 years. My Quick Test:I checked the angle a glass plate on all 4 sides, then I turned the device 180 degrees and repeated the same measurements when in ABS mode on level surface, and repeated the same measurements on a 10 degree surface.I picked it up, and set it back down a bunch of times by lifting opposite corners so the reading is both going up, and coming down, and watching it "settle in" to get a feel for what the real reading is.so you take the increasing and decreasing readings from these 16 positions and you compare them. The ABSOLUTE WORST I saw was 0.03 degrees error on one side.WOW This is many times more accurate than it's specs, and much better than what I expected based on the ones I've used.I really liked how the numbers settle on a reading, enough so, that I have a lot of confidence in the accuracy of the device. almost always to zero, at most 0.01 off about 20% of the time. It was very repeatable. Easily 10 - 15 times better than my other 0.1 degree devices that drift all over.Once you have really good numbers, something interesting happens (if you like data... and I do!)As I looked at the numbers... It was looking like it had more to do with how accurate you can expect to make a little plastic box, the accuracy of the 4 sides has a role in the overall angle measured VS having it always with the magnet touching the measured surface and rotating the surface instead of the device.Well... There is also an easy way to check that, do the same test on the bottom of the glassSo repeat the same tests, and hold the device on the bottom of the glass, compare to the readings from the top of the glass, (ASSUME A PLATE OF GLASS IS TWO PERFECTLY PARALLEL PLANES) and sure enough, it was just the plastic box not being perfect.I am very impressed with the initial accuracy of this device. Hope it stays that way!I can even see how much pressure i'm putting on my table measuring how much the glass bends! The screen is very readable, There is one "weak" angle, but it is still easily visible. Much better than the others I have. The teeter-totter is somehow so much more intuitive than a bubble... I can't believe I'm saying that... But I am...The one thing I did notice, if you zero it out on the side of something, and then check the angle of the bottom of it, the screen will flip over, and back, at 90 degrees constantly, and teeter-totter was showing the wrong direction to level. Not a huge deal, especially considering how much better overall it is, but still annoying.Another thing I really like is how it zeros out. Every other one I've used when you take your finger off the button, it never goes to 0.00, sometimes it takes 5-10 times to get it zero'd almost like the clicking of the button disturbs the reading, not this one!!! it works very well... I tried to zero it a few hundred times and it was rarely off.I'm very impressed with it!

Inaccurate junk
Here we go again with yet another toy pretending to be a Digital Angle Gauge with 0.01 accuracy.out of all the Angle gauges I have tested throughout the years this by far is the worst.I wish Amazon would bring back the CAPRI. now that was 100% accurateCons:Impossible to zero and I mean it is terrible bad.extremely Inaccurate when tested against calibrated engineering squares.still using screws to install and remove battery.magnet only on base (no big deal)Pros:good magneteasy to read display

Quality and easy to use.
I've owned this product for about a month. It's very easy to use and seems to be very accurate. Only complaint is that the screen can be a little hard to read if you aren't looking at it head on. But that's a minor problem. Would recommend.
