DII Basic Barmop Collection Multi-Purpose Cleaning, Dishcloth Set, Holiday, 8 Piece

I recently bought some thick washcloths for shower use on Amazon, but was displeased with them because they were so thick, I could not wring them out. And they were not very absorbent. So I came back and bought these "bar mop" washcloths for bathroom use. I like them because they are the perfect thickness to get the job done, but are not so thick they won't wring out or dry out. I also like that these have a loop construction which aids for skin exfoliation. So while these are sold as "bar mops," I think they are perfect for skin use, such as face washing or showering. I haven't figured out why anyone would describe these as "monogrammable," as the description states because the loop construction would not be good for that. But for everyday washcloths, they work great! And they are a great value!

These towels are absorbent and soft. I needed something to put by the sink in the kitchen to dry my hands off. These work great. I also like the colors; they are very vibrant.

I bought these for use in the kitchen for drying my hands in order to cut down on paper towel usage. I use one or two each day, so I've washed them quite few times. So far they are holding up well. They are decent weight and not really thin like the cheap ones you get at walmart. No unraveled edges or anything. The hemmed edges are actually pretty well done. Assuming the consistency is there with the manufacturing, I will probably buy some more. The only thing I will say is that there was a fairly good amount of lint with the first wash, so maybe wash them separate first. After the second wash I noticed no excess lint.

Have been buying these for our small restaurant for three years now. I actually purchase them directly from my Amazon Orders page using the buy it again option, so I know I am ordering the same product. This last order, however is actually not the same product. The rags received are much thinner, with a looser cheaper weave and are a lot rougher. They are probably fine for the restaurant, although I don't expect them to last as long based on visual quality. I always had several at home for my own kitchen and would rotate them into the restaurant when we got a new order. I wouldn't use these at home now. Bummed, it stinks having to find a new product....also as an afterthought, this is not a product you would monogram, as the title indicates....the quality is not there for that.

I ordered these dish towels and dish cloths four years ago. I just ordered an exact replacement set of both and was extremely disappointed in the quality of the dish cloths. The towels appear to be the same (still made in China). The cloths, however, (now made in Pakistan) are discolored, have pulls in the THINNER cloth, and aren't sewn well so that they don't fold flat. Sitting next to the new towels, the color change and quality are obvious. Next to the dish cloths that are four years old, the colors are almost the same, but the older ones still look nicer. In the four years the cost of the towels dropped and the dish cloths increased in price. They are not worth the money.

These towels are great, just what I wanted. I love bar mop towels. They soak up so much more than a lot of other kitchen towels, which I need. I go threw lots of dishes, lots of kitchen cleaning, and lots of towels/washcloths/rags with 3 always-hungry teenagers and a toddler.I love the bright colors. I've washed them several times now with and they still look great.I read one of the other reviews mentioning the colors bled too much, but I figured I'd give it a try anyhow. I ran each one through cold water. Only the red one bled a little (which I expected with such a bold red) and the very light pink water ran clear after about a minute rinsing it. Then I tossed them all straight into the washer with other laundry and had no more problems with the colors bleeding.

I ran them through the wash and dry cycle once to remove manufacturing process excess (material, lint, etc.,) as usual for pre-use.However, this last order appears to have had a decline in quality. As is evidenced by the photo, hems and seams are already becoming unraveled and I HAVEN'T even used them yet.I've purchased these a few times over the past years and not had any problems. They are highly absorbent and very durable. It is only because of this that I am returning for a "Product Replacement". I am not ready to throw in the towel just yet on this company/product. (...and yes, the was pun intended).This is the review of the "Replacements": As seen in the 2nd picture, again the hems/seams are jacked up after 1 wash/dry cycle (cold/low). The quality has taken a serious nose dive in the last year and a half.As far as I'm concerned, the price-to-quality ratio is completely out of balance. I will not be purchasing DII products in the future. I will keep this set only because I need something and they're already here.UGLY, UGLY QUALITY! I DO NOT RECOMMEND UNLESS THEY'RE SELLING THIS FOR LESS THAN $10.

I washed them before use and they seemed to wash nicely, no shrinkage.

I love bar mops, but tired of white. These towels came loose, and dirty. Washed them once and this is what has happened. Also if you hold them up to the light you can see through them like a 10yearbold towel, not a new one.

tiny and leave fluff on everything

Great handy towel to have in the kitchen. A bit smaller than your regular tea towel. Great to have on hand just for wiping up, drying things off, grabbing hot food out of the oven etc. Just handy to have sitting there ready for pretty well any task in the kitchen.- I like the range of colours, a few choices to match your kitchen if you like.- Really absorbant these make a really good tea towel.
