I don't write a lot of reviews, but as I find myself here to order more I decided I should go ahead and tell others what I'm thinking.I basically live on my phone. For various health reasons I find myself stuck in bed or on the couch with much more often than I would like, and my phone is my lifeline. Because of that, I am really rough on my electronics, I have to replace phone batteries before phones and I go through inferior quality phone cords constantly. Before these, I had bought a multipack of braided cords that had a 6ft in it and I fell in love with the ability to have my phone plugged in and still have a bit of room to move. So once most of the pack was gone I went looking for longer cords and ended up with these. I gave my dad one because he had a need before I did, so the one I had left went to the couch and my last shorter cord stayed in the bedroom.Well, the bedroom cord has been unreliable for some time, and just today I had my first problem with this cord so I figured it was time to get new. I was really disappointed at the fail in this cord until, when looking through my order history to buy more, I found that I bought this cord *in December 2016*. That's amazing. I don't think I've had a charging cord last longer than six months or maybe a year through my constantly using the phone while it's charging, bending and tilting and twisting it at all angles. Most die in a couple months. And to be clear, it was only a brief glitch, today, where it had to be jiggle a little to resume the connection. Even an inferior cord would still probably be usable for another couple months at this point and this one might be fine even longer - I just decided to use the warning to replace my bedroom cord and have a backup on hand for the good one. I'm super impressed by this cord and so looking forward to having a good connection and longer reach in the bedroom, as well.

Connection is wobly but does not stop a charge yet for me. Nice 10 feet length, nice cable strength which looks like it should survive a long cycle of pulling etc... reason I wrote 4 stars as it will not charge my recpad 10 tablet which has a higher 1.8ghz cpu speed on it. I can always charge about 1.6ghz cpu tablets and below with this and other sturdy cables like Anker brand and Volutz brand but not higher. This cable definitly has a lower awg amount for the thickness to charge a device faster but it is not low enough to keep ny device at 18ghz cpu speed charged as this cable discharges around 87%-100% and I find myself shutting off the screen for a few minutes sometimes to give it more juice to be able to handle the charge. Where as sync wire 6.5 feet being sold on Amazon is able to keep my recpad at a constant 100% quite often and never below 80% till it syops discharging. last night while I was playing a snes videogame with internet and bluetooth turned on and never dropped below 100% and I played for about 3 hours with no drops so sometimes it never discharges as well. So all in all the IXCC cable is nothing compared to the syncwire 6.5feet, but for this 10 foot cable and needing a good quality cable for length and will last long yey will not charge a tablet running anythong ober a 1.6ghz cpu then this IXCC os the cable for anyone reading this review in the future, trust my review as mine are actually legit and not added from companies etc... this is how the item truly is and I can guarentee you my reviw is not false nor a lie so you will not be tricked into buying a crap product that foes not work like I have had happened inleast 5 times this year and it has taken me about 5 times to finnally use up my gift card money from Amazon believe it or not.

I don't write reviews unless I test the product against what I needed them for. I got sick of poor charging performance or did some research discovering what was needed for a good phone charger and I discovered that devices do not work properly if the charge is to an adequate so even if it's charging it will take forever and then the device doesn't work very well. I had no idea that that can happen from a bad charger so after my research my primary needs were charger length, had to be 10ft, enough charging amperage for my 2amp tablet, quality materials to compensate for the leangth. I did not buy this charger for data transfer rate, so that aspect was not a consideration for me personally. In short, this charger far exceeds expectation, for the following reasons. I no longer feel like smashing my tablet to bits. My tablet started working properly again, from charge rate, to charge quality, and tablet feature functions. I can now have my paper work marathons and if I need to use my charger, I can move around with the charger plugged in. Charger stays connected to the tablet charger port as I move. Charge rate is higher than power demand. Cord survives being absent mindedly twisted into knots and being ran over by the office chair wheels. Works better in the car charger port than shorter car chargers, so I don't have to be in my car to use the car charger.All of that is more than i could have reasonably expected for the price, and I got 2 of em. For my needs, the performance quality blew away my expectstions for my needs.Which is why 4 stars didn't seem fair for the price, so I gI've 5 stars.

Very very long and robust. Got the dual pack. I tend to phones/tablets whilst plugged in so the end of the cords die very quickly. These seem like they should last.

I purchased these for use with my Nexus 7 (2012) tablets and I'm very impressed. The length is brilliant for charging during use, and I get a much faster charge than I do even with the official cables. Previously, using my tablet while it was charging (with the official cable and plug) would have it pretty much breaking even -- not really charging (perhaps gaining 1-2% every half hour) but not losing power either. Now I can actually charge my tablet effectively while using it!Really fantastic item -- I'm glad I bought them and I highly recommend them.
