Super Soother 5000
Running on zero sleep and desperate I bought this after remembering a similar model in my little brother's nursery. I was a little hesitant at first due to the price-could this thing really be worth 40 bucks?? ABSOLUTELY. We can now put my daughter in her crib without worrying about whether or not she wakes up as soon as she hits the mattress. We simply turn this thing on and usually in the next ten minutes she is fast asleep. The main scene is so great for soothing into daytime naps and the projected stars are perfect for nighttime- not too bright or stimulating! The characters are adorable, and the only thing I would change is to have better options for sound and brightness settings. The lights on the main scene are a little too much sometimes and it would be nice to have the option to mute as we are using this in tandem with a noise machine. Otherwise, best $40 I've spent in our nursery!!

We can’t live without this for sleep
I bought this when my son was only a few weeks old, just wanted to have something for his crib. This went unused for months (he stayed in our room until 8 months), but we always fed him in his room so I started using the star projector feature. Very nice, calm and soothing. But now that he is in his crib we can’t do without it! He LOVES being able to turn it on, switch the color, watch it, we call it his TV. He’s 16 months now, and when we put him down to sleep whether it nap or night, he turns this on and watches until he’s ready to go down then he turns it off himself. Sometimes he falls asleep watching it, so it is very nice this is on a timer. It’s long enough to run while he gets to a deep sleep, but not annoying long. Overall, this is a great buy and such a perfect companion for my son to sleep!

A favorite, two babies later!
The media could not be loaded. This soother was loved by both of our children. Both learned how to turn it on in their crib around 6 months old, and would do so independently! I like how the lights and sound fade as the cycle proceeds. The songs are pleasant to listen to even for me lol. Batteries seem to last months for the amount which it Mia used, which is great. Would totally recommend! It will be sad to see this out of use one day.

Made bedtime easier
I wish I would’ve bought this when our baby was smaller but alas I didn’t think I needed it. Fast forward to sleep regression, teething, etc and bedtime has become a little difficult . I love this product and it has definitely made bedtime less stressful.Pros: sound choices are nice, volume is adjustable and even comfortable when on the loudest setting. The star projector is not overly bright but does give nice silhouettes on the ceiling.Cons: It’s set on a timer..it would be nice if it was able to set at varying increments (ex: 30 mins,60 mins.)The strap to lock it into the side of the crib is a bit annoying and awkward and it’s recommended to tie it to the string attached to the machine which I found weird. I ended up tying the string THROUGH a notch in the strap to give a more secure position out of the way of little hands. There is no remote, which is annoying when you have to go walk to the machine and have your baby see you instead of turning it on remotely. And the biggest flaw of all for me is: we prefer it on the darker blue “night” setting but you have to flip through the other colors first so it’s not really nice to have a bright orange light in your infants face at 3am when you’re trying to get to the dark blue.Overall I love this sound machine and projector combo. There’s only a couple flaws that if fixed it would be perfect. It’s worth the $40 to me

Broke in less than a week, so disappointed.
The media could not be loaded. I was so disappointed. Initially we had the Baby Einstein Sea Soother, but that stopped working as well— so we bought this. It was so much nicer, quieter, the light was softer and not as bright and my son seemed to love the star projection at night, and the moving animals during the day. But then it started blinking oddly. I replaced the batteries thinking that was the issue, but it still continued. We’re not hard on these items, they don’t get thrown around or dropped and my son is 3mo, so it’s not like he can hit it. I reached out to Mattel, and will update this if anything positive comes out of it.***update*** I emailed Mattel and they were super quick to respond and had a new product sent out the same day I emailed. Changed from two stars to four simply for customer service.

Life saver!
Absolutely love this thing! It’s come in handy for so many restless nights, highly recommend! I think it’s only downside is that it can be pretty bright and there’s no way to dim it

Over two years of daily use and still going strong
Where to start? Ok first off this thing is adorable! It is very easy to attach and remove from the side of the crib. When you turn it on the "forest scene" mode, I was delighted to find the little animals move which I didn't know they would do when I purchased it. In projection mode, it projects a starry sky which changes slightly every few seconds. While most sound machines sound very artificial, the music and sounds from this machine are natural and pleasant. I enjoy listening to it while I rock my baby to sleep. An awesome feature I was not expecting is the gradual shut off. The machine will first shut off lights then gradually fade out music so it won't startle your baby awake. If I could had a sixth star to this I would.::update::After over two years of use, my now toddler still loves this machine! The red button allows him to turn the soother on by himself if he wakes up in the night and needs help get back to sleep. This was worth every penny and then some.

Amazing product omg
We got this for my son during Christmas. It finally ran out of battery in April. Keep in mind he’s been using every night since December. He’s even learned how to turn it on and off by himself. So it’s very easy to use and mount to the crib. It puts him to sleep almost immediately. 10/10 great for everyone. And it’s an amazing gift.
