Professional Beekeeping Suit Including Jacket Pant and Long Sleeve Gloves Suitable for Beginner and Commercial Beekeeper

This suit worked well to protect my husband from getting stung while handling our swarming wasp problem. The only place he got stung was through his shoe/sock (where the suit doesn't cover). It has a very strong odor (which is WAY more pleasant than a hundred stings). We would recommend wearing glasses or goggles with this, since the wasps were trying to fly at his eyes and the mesh seemed like it might reach that far if pushed in. The gloves were thick enough that he could pick the wasps off the mesh in time. I can't speak towards durability, since we don't plan to use this too frequently. Overall, it worked well!

Used to tackle a yellow jacket wasp hive wedged in an underground cavity.For reference: I am shy of 5'11" and found that the sleeves were not long enough to extend comfortably over gloves, and the legs were not long enough (the suit has "feet"). Once inside boots, it meant that the pants had to be positioned further down the hips (hip hop style). The kit included long gloves, but they are not "outdoor work" gloves which were needed for using a shovel and pick as well as reaching into the hive.Still, the outfit covered well enough to protect during a night battle with the pollinator / pest (I was forced into this but realize it is not the best thing for the yard's ecosystem) .I did not experience the "plastic odor" mentioned by other reviewers.This is an inexpensive solution made from inexpensive materials not meant for daily professional use. Price was right for what is likely to be a very rare endeavor.

I have never been stung in this suit, and have bees since May 9, 2020. I have found a few stingers in the fabric on inspection, telling me that the suit was doing its job. I have two hives of gentle Italian bees, and also rehomed a wild bee swarm this year without a stinging incident.

The value of this suit is great, but the problem it is full protective.I new to beekeeping, and out of 4 times I used this suite 3 times I was stung through the gloves, through the hat in my head and through the netting on my face.Note, I put the full gear on, on top of a hoodie, long pants and I still got stung.The hat it not large enough to make enough space between the netting and the face, so when I turned my head, the netting was too close that the bees were able to get me.Also, the bees got several times through the gloves. Excellent defense against all the bugs while working in the robust tomato patch and garden. When you're out there bushwrestling to get all of the delicious tomatoes and other treats, this suit will not only make you look awesome, but its got your back - and the rest of your body. Unfortunately, it is difficult to clean. Looking forward to using it for beekeeping next spring!

I bought this to protect myself while spraying a yellow jacket nest. It worked great. I’m 6 ft and 175 lbs. The suit fit me just fine. I would recommend this product without reservation.

Just what I needed -- fit great -- well made -- could see good through the face screen -- when a hornet landed on the face screen right at my eyes,, I was very glad I had bought the Suit.

I was surrounded by thousands of bees while trying to remove the nest and did not get a single sting. I’m not sure if the suit comes in different sizes, but was a bit tight for me, but it works well.

Product ripped in my first stride when wearing the pants. Wanted to use this clothing to fix a loose roof fixture which was also occupying a wasps nest on my house. The gloves and head covering are great. Not happy with the instant rip in the pants. Will repair and complete my task.
