Best 1/4 drive ratchet I own!
What a piece of American Steel! An incredible handle design and feel, not too much knurling but enough for a nice grip. I am a Huge fan of Proto Tools, I loved how the Mac Axis ratchets felt on the Mac truck, but prefer the Knurled handle than the smooth Mac one! My Snap On T72 ratchets are sill my favorite everyday, but this is my only flex head. Absolutely love it! 10/10

Smoooth ant tight/BUT
I started with Proto(main go to) and Wright when Strap-On went from 7-8 series.I guess I have about 35 Proto ratchets from the sixties on. These 90's are super SUPER but got too pricey. Get you some Gear wrench. Every bit as slick and tough.Just not the beloved "USA made"....like the best meth and those..."movies". Wright is as good or better than Proto but limited in lenghts, flexers etc. My road kit is Wright, The main shop stuff is tons of Proto, both old and new, mixed with Gearwrench. The Snaps are all retired other than the Dual 80, their best ,and perhaps, last offering. I don't buy it any more.$$$. I go with "industrial brands" nowadays...and Gearwrench...the future for avg shops. Buy all the Protos if you like Rolex. They ARE slick.Avoid Williams like the herpes.

Smooth ratcheting
This ratchet is very expensive, but it’s top of line in terms of build quality and utility. The smoothest ratcheting I’ve experienced with any tool and the 90 degree articulation is great for quick removal of bolts and nuts after they’re broken free.

Good Quality at a Good Price
I believe the ratcheting mechanism of the Proto Precision 90 line of ratchets is the same mechanism used by sister company Mac Tools in its Axis 90 line of ratchets. I prefer the knurling of the handle on the Proto ratchet compared to the handle of the Mac version, and the Proto version is less expensive and available on Amazon. Additionally, my understanding is that the Proto warranty is applicable to purchases of Proto tools on Amazon.
