3 3/4" Black & White Viking Plastic Chess Pieces - Felted, Standard Size

These chess pieces are an amazing value for the money. The tiny detail on them is pretty impressive to see. The plastic seems like it would be very durable for a long time. They do not seem like cheap plastic that will dry out and crack. They are solid plastic but are softer type of plastic that will not break easily if dropped. I got them to start to teach my 4 year old grandson how to play chess. These are perfect. It is hard to find human looking pieces for less money. These were a great buy for the money. Very impressed with them.

Delivery was fast. The chess pieces are beautiful and large size 3 3/4 inches (9.5 cm). Chess is made of fragile plastic. 1 package of chess was not in the original package and without protection from damage. 2 Viking figures were broken.

I purchased these pieces as soon as I saw them because I already have the Roman Legion set and this one appears to be of the same quality. It does not come with a board. I think they look good on a black and silver board with 1 9/16" wide squares. If you wanted, you could have the Roman Legion pieces face the Viking pieces on the chess board. I will note that the pawns do not remind me of Vikings... just wild men.

If you’re looking for just the chess pieces I’m sure it would be great I was expecting it to come with a chess board but it doesn’t that was my own fault tho for not reading up but the Pieces themselves are pretty cool they can be cleaned up more

Replaced the chess set I had purchased approximately 50 years ago.

What a disappointment! Pieces are light, cheaply made with obvious seams, priced far too high for quality. They do not even appear to be Vikings.

Plays well, easy to tell which piece is which. Gives a different fun flair to the game. They are very stable on the board and being sturdy plastic they won’t break if you happen to drop one on the floor.
