Cofair Products INC GS46 4PK 4x6 Gutt Gutter Seal Patch, Plain

First I used WD-40 Specialist Industrial-Strength Cleaner & Degreaser, 24 OZ [Non-Aerosol Trigger] available here on Amazon and washed off with water to dry well. I did the repair in the high heat of summer to repair an 8 by 5 inch missing chunk of gutter trough destroyed by a falling branch. Only one side was damaged and not the bottom so I pieced together the fragments with two different kinds of glue to form a skeleton base cleaning each piece and the surrounding area first. The application went on well first peeling off the backing and folding it around edges. I let it sit in the sun first to get it good and hot and pliable. It has a good weight to it that was reassuring. I overlapped as needed the recommended one inch as I used three of the four pieces one end to end. I used a glue around the edges called Akfix Thick Super Glue Cyanoacrylate CA Glue Clear 125GW - 3.5 oz NetW (wear protection available on Amazon as a precaution though I might have done without. It looks really fine and I was proud of myself not to have to hire a gutter trough person. The mend blends in pretty well with the cream colored plastic gutter trough.

I used this to plug a downspout hole so it was a pretty large hole. One did the trick and no leaks! Quite pleased.

Most likely, if you aren't working with a clean, smooth surface, this product will not work the best as indicated by the small leak I still have. I understand the need for its thickness but it makes it hard to seal corners. Will give you a good start but will most likely have to use a caulk sealant too.

I previously attempted twice to seal the leak with other companies products with minimal success. This product has stopped the leak. It is relatively easy to use and very sticky. I won't know how durable it is for some time but so far so gook.

Used it to keep my neighbors broken downspout from dumping into my basement!! Helps divert the majority of the water to a different downspout. Real easy to use

It’s not long enough. It’s hard to align properly onto the gutters cause gaps and openings. Unless you absolutely need it for a very short temporary patch up it’s not going work at all.

This stuff really works. I love it

Plugged a leak in downspout collection box a month ago. So far so good.
