ColdPruf Men's Classic Base Layer Long Sleeve Crew Neck Top

My brother was the one who purchased this from my account. He was searching for the best base layer for the least amount of money. I was stoked to come across something for him that was 100% wool for this price. He says it's comfortable and that he loves it, but he's also not picky with these sort of things.My personal opinions of it are as follows: It's merino, and it isn't thin. Decent quality, and it's super affordable for what you get. My biggest complaint is that its super ugly (Commando color). But then again, who can see your base layer besides maybe in the lodge, right? So, if you're interested in saving anywhere from $25-$90 in exchange for some aesthetics and maybe a higher quality wool, then this is perfect.

The shirt was to big, but the quality was great.

The fit is perfect, it can be a little itchy when new. Just follow the instructions for care. Merino wool needs to be washed and worn to fully soften the fibers. This particular top is no exception. The color is.. Green.. not an od green, but a bit lighter. Since it is a base layer it will be covered by subsequent layers and won't normally be seen

Warm, fits, the Black is itchy so not as advertised. Commando isn’t as itchy but pants wore a hole after a basic amount of use, and I’m not fat.

Looks great. My husband has an especially long torso and this looks great on him.

When I originally ordered this item I was excited to be getting a merino wool shirt for a good price.But everything about this layer is below par. Starting with the AWFUL smell this shirt has. I have no clue how it could smell so bad, but it does. This really manifested itself when I washed it for the first time. It stunk up the entire room.Second, the material is very thin and seems incredibly fragile. And after just the first initial wash prior to wearing, I noticed heavy piling already all over.I would HIGHLY suggest avoiding this and getting a higher quality baselayer from Icebreaker or Smartwool. Don't waste your money on this garbage. If it really is Merino wool, it's the worst quality ever. I would much prefer polyester to this crap.

This is a great base layer when it's cold. It fits perfectly and hugs my skin. It goes well under my clothes for being out in the snow and cold. It feels good on my skin, it's not itchy. It washes well and doesn't shrink at all. It keeps me warm and I like it!
