VIBE BlackDeath On Ear Headphones

I purchased these headphones because I use vibe isobaric subs in the van as well as vibe monoblock.I would say that these headphones give out plenty of warm bass but not the hard hitting bass I was expecting.The sound is more like listening to a 1970s valve amp with horn speakers.I've tried listening to different types of music from fleetwood mac to dirty south rap and like the other reviews I agree that other than rap or dance music these headphones will get easily muddled up in the frequencies.They certainly won't give accurate reproduction of the high frequencies ,even when using an equaliser.I just don't know why vibe has put their name on these cans but no doubt the teenagers will love them

Every so often, a product comes in packaging that is not merely a gimmick but a touch of genius. That is the case with these VIBE BlackDeath headphones. The skull is a real talking point and an obvious table decoration for Halloween! The headphones themselves are as good as you could want especially for the price. The noise cancelling headphones do their job in no uncertain terms, making my son's heavy metal music played at high volume completely inaudible to anyone passing! In terms of sound quality the sound from either a Laptop or an MP3 was first rate. I totally recommend these headphones and would be astonished if you can get anything better for twice the price.

I was really pleased when I got these. They're really light and comfortable to use for extended periods of time. Adjustment is smooth and easy to provide secure location on your head for whatever activity your taking part in and still want to listen to your music. The quality of reproduction was certainly good enough for MP3. The box is quite cool too.

I've gotta say these are probably the best packaged headphones I've seen to date, if you were to mix this box with any a bunch of other brands out there, this one will certainly stand out of the crowd.When you open the box you instantly get a first good impression, the looks are so stylish, it's very lightweight, and has a bazaar flimsy but solid feel to it.The parts of the headphones that touch your head are well padded making the initial experience very comfortable when your put them over your head, you can also adjust them not by sliding the headband, but the ear-cups instead.The sound is very good, I found it to be great regardless of the genre you listen too, I was naive to think that because they're made specifically to enhance bass, it's going to ruin the music tracks that don't have much bass in them, but I was wrong, in fact the tracks that didn't have much bass were well balanced, and those tracks with heavy bass were amplified and my god did it sound awesome.Back to comfortability, whilst overall the headphones are comfortable, after awhile I felt pressure along my ears, this may once again be down to me wearing glasses and the pressure from the headphones are slowly squishing my ears onto them making it uncomfortable for long periods of usage (this is why I normally go for over-ear headphones), nevertheless I had to mention it for those people who have the same problem.So overall these are good headphones, I wouldn't recommend it to those who have the same pressure issues I have with on-ear headphone, but for those who don't, I would highly recommend!

At the upper end of the budget headphone price range, it's very difficult to find fault with these headphones. They tick all the right boxes in respect of the two most important aspects of headphones - quality of sound and comfort. Additionally, they're well made and look good.The overall sound is very good paricularly the bass which is rich and natural sounding and doesn't suffer from that forced bass boost sound you sometimes get. With the volume turned up the sound can get a bit messy on more detailed songs, but for the price I wouldn't expect it not to.The padded earcups sit very comfotably on the ear and you adjust the postion of them by sliding them up and down and the actual position and shape of the headband remains unchanged. Most importantly, they are NOT skull crushers.They come packaged with a polystyrene skull which also acts as a stand. It's not particularly effective and is more of a marketing gimmick to get the headphones noticed by potential customers, but a nice touch nonetheless. When taking all things into consideration - price, sound quality and comfort - these headphones represent excellent value for money.
