L'Oreal ParisYouth Code Texture Perfector Facial Serum

If you want perfectly soft skin, this is the product for you. The entire texture of my face feels different when I put this on. All you need is one pump in the morning to cover your face, and it will last you the entire day. I have very sensitive skin, to the point of where I can't even use normal laundry detergent, and this product does not irritate it at all. I continue to see daily improvement in the texture of my skin. I only use this part of the total Youth Code line, I do not use any of the other products in the skin care line. Personally, I'm not sure that you need to. This product seems to do the trick on it's own. The smell is great, the texture is wonderful, and it really works. Baby soft skin, for a fraction of the cost compared to big store brands. This has become a must have product in my beauty routine, and I hope that L'Oreal Paris continues to make quality products such as this.For information purposes: I am a 25 year old female that has texture issues on my cheeks and nose. I use this product on my entire face, except for my forehead, where I use a different product due to needing additional moisture.

I am a huge fan of L'Oreal facial moisturizers. I discovered how wonderful they were when I first tried the Youth Code Luminize serum. My skin was acting up during the winter so I started looking for the Youth Code serum when I saw reviews for this texture perfector. I decided to give it a try and I AM IN LOVE. It's been exactly one month since I bought it and my pores are gone. For reference, I have dark brown, combination skin (non sensitive). My skin is pretty good most of the time and my pores stay minimal with consistent exfoliation. I've been using my facial scrub 50% less than I usually do because my skin looks so smooth now. The best part is that it has a subtle mattifying effect which is perfect for me because my skin can get oily. I use it under my usual moisturizer (LUSH Enzymion) and I'm good to go all day. And because my skin looks smoother, my makeup looks flawless. A little goes a long way. It's only been a month and I'm not even 1/4 through the bottle yet. I've only been using it once in the morning however. People with problem skin might be better off using it twice per day. I'm definitely making this a staple. Love it!

I totally understand where people are coming from when they say it smells floral and old-lady-like but I really like the smell and out of this line of products, the serum probably has the least noticable fragrance. In general, it reminds me of the beauty department at a high end store. I'm using this product, the day/night cream and the facial soap and it's been about a month and oh boy what a difference! It honestly took about two or three weeks before I could tell any difference and I was actually about to give up with it but I figured I'd finish the bottles and then decide and I'm glad I stuck with it! I've never had "bad" acne but I HAD a few acne scars on my cheeks that never seemed to fade no matter how many different lotions I've tried. With this system, my scars/raised areas where the acne flared up have disappeared! My skin tone is more even and I'm even noticing that the blackheads that have been on my nose since my early teens are slowly fading! I would highly recommend this system, it's a little pricey to get started but well worth the money and the products last a lot longer than you would think because you only need a little bit at a time!

While, this isn't a miracle, this is a great product. It does a pretty good job of shrinking the pores (appears to) and those ugly tiny lines, that connect the pores, seemed to disappear. I can't find this in stores any longer, I believe Loreal is discontinuing this product, although they do still have some back-stock (I assume it's back-stock) on their website....as I believe this company is selling the last of this product, as well...so I stocked up and purchased 3 bottles. It smelled and looked fine, however-and it seems to be working, my pores are snapping back.The active ingredient is 2% of the LR2412, that I believe Loreal has claimed patent on. This ingredient was originally in their Lancôme product called "Visionnaire". That product is up to $115 bucks, but it does was twice the amount of LR2412, at 4%. It has great reviews, but the price tag is staggering...for another 70-85 bucks, I can get back on Tretinnoin cream, at its highest strength. Good grief.

I've only used this for a few days, so I can't review it yet from a skin texture point of view. However, I can say that the fragrance is a bit odd, sort of a vitamin smell. Once I let that absorb into my skin, I apply my moisturizer then my lip balm. After all of that is on, the odd fragrance is hardly noticeable. The texture of the product is very creamy and easy to apply. Once I've used it for a few weeks, I'll update my review.

There is no downside to buying this serum. It works as well if not better than the priciest serums. I should know as I have found myself gradually moving my skincare regimen from very expensive alternatives to L'Oreal products, and getting equal or better results. Pretty annoyed I spent all that unnecessary money for all these years. This serum is a must-have. After 1 year of daily use my skin looks younger than it did when I started. I got it initially for the pore reducing properties (which it takes care of beautifully) but a side effect was the oil control of my face which was a shiny mess by mid-morning. No shine any more since starting this. My skin is smoother than it ever was, and nicely tight and plump. For disclosure purposes I also use an inexpensive HLA serum in the AM and L'Oreal's Age Perfect Night Cream at night. I am almost 50 and look 35. This is my regimen and I'm sticking to it. Results are visible in the first few days of use which is a nice plus.

Really great product, absorbs easily, leaves skin youthful and bright, non-greasy. I'm 45 but my skin looks no older than 30. Don't know if its due to light exfoliation and using basic creams like this and of course being a vegan/non-smoker... Lol but I've yet to see any wrinkles/sallowness in my skin. Only used this cream for a month but it does an excellent job (drinking natural fruit smoothies and plenty of water daily helps it do the job it's supposed to)Would definitely recommend !

Really great product, I'm on my third bottle. I will continue to use this product because it is not greasy. In the summer time, I just wear it and then I put a primer over it and I'm good for the day. I definitely feel comfortable to wear less makeup because of this product. I think it has evened out my skin tone somewhat and u only have to use one pump which is about a dime size.

Received product quickly and it feels great just as good as any expensive product that costs hundreds there is no miracle cure there is just a great feeling of clean and smooth. Thanks, Jackie - Ontario Canada

Did nothing for me! The pearly undertone was not good for my skin..Terrible discolouration and I felt it had an artificial feel and smell to it...Sorry!
