The roots came on time and were fresh, but...they definitely were not for sauce. The pictures shows the roots we were used to-about 6 inches to a foot long, and about an inch to an inch and a half in diameter. What came was mostly 4 " tops, which may have been OK for planting, but definitely were not able to be cut by any tool available to the average homeowner. It took us over 8 hours, using every knife we, and our neighbors owned to get enough for out Passover seders. These roots were not for grating.

Huge roots. Weighed closer to 6lbs than 5lbs. Flavor is a *little* weak, but that's probably my fault for ordering in the middle of winter (tends to lose some flavor in the cold of winter). They can't control that. Shipping was fast. Roots cut easily. I cut most of them up for my fire cider. Took 2 that were sprouting and put them in the garden. Not the ideal time to plant, but we'll see if they do anything. I'll be ordering again in the spring.
