I purchased this from e-retailers and it applies only to them. They offer a 3 year warranty which is not practical because the product combines an Intel product with their own added memory, drive. etc. When I had a problem with the NUC itself (no Bluetooth) they told me to deal with Intel directly. That would mean removing the components that they added and I paid for.I asked them to replace the NUC and send the defective one back to Intel. They refused because this item is not in stock. Yet it appears to be in stock today on this page.I asked them to remove their components and send it back to Intel on my behalf. They refused because I need to deal directly with Intel.So, I learned my lesson. While I was asking them for help, I was able to get the Bluetooth running with a driver update, toggling the BIOS Bluetooth setting a couple times and a few cold boots. It is my good fortune that I don't need to take this apart myself and send it back to Intel.Next time, I will just buy the components and do it myself. Buying like this with an impractical warranty is just frustrating.The Intel product is good so 2 stars.

i'm rating this 5-star because now that i've purchased and installed a ssd the nuc works great... however when i first ordered the nuc i mistakenly ordered it with just the 1tb hdd, no ssd, which meant it arrived with windows installed on the 1tb hdd.it's hard for me to believe that in the year 2019 a modern hard drive can be as painfully slow as the 1tb hdd that came with this nuc, it was so ridiculously slow that i was sure something must be wrong with it - but after running a series of hdd tests it passed as perfectly healthy... thing is, even as a storage drive (no os) it's absolutely horrible, moving folders/files to and from it is a joke, so you can imagine how miserably it performed as an os drive.anyway, the 8i7beh is a great box, just make absolutely sure that you select a ssd in the options section... in fact if i had to do it over again i would not have selected a hdd at all, just a sdd, and either purchased an internal hdd elsewhere, or used an external usb hdd which would run circles around the included 1tb hdd.

I bought this specifically to put vmware on it so I could run lab systems. With a little bit of work I was successfully able to do so and this little box is running headless - with nothing but ethernet and power plugged into it.I replaced the HDD so I can't comment on the Windows portion of this system.The only caveat I would offer is with the video. Since it only offers HDMI and USB-C you need to ensure that your monitor has these inputs. I got an adapter and it didn't work but I was able to complete my install by using my TV's HDMI.So far everything is running great and I would highly recommend to someone who has limited space but still wants a powerful machine.

This replaced a 2012 Lenovo IdeaCentre Q180 which replaced a 2006 ASUS Nettop. We've gotten used to using a SFF computer to surf & stream web for years but tech marches on and we needed to speed things up, or lets just say hopscotch the ancient atom processors we've been saddled with. This NUC does that and how! Should last us another half decade. Everytime we over buy for our needs at the time, our needs seem to outstrip the purchase as time goes by. That's why quad core processor, 32 Ram with 1 TB SSD, (added a another 2 TB SSD when I got it) may seem excessive for just surfing but speed for the impatient is a must. Even though we don't game its powerful enough to slice through any app for now. This is dead quiet and so small, no heat problems hidden in the credenza. Have it hooked up to a Samsung 65 flatscreen in the living room. Very happy with the purchase and pnp out of the box with minimal setup.

This tiny computer is a power house! I'm absolutely impressed with this Intel NUC unit with one exception- Windows 10. This operating system has issues! Ours thinks it's installed in a laptop. Despite all sleep and power settings our screen times out after 1 minute. One! Annoying when you're trying to cook from a recipe, or do anything at all, that requires you to step away for 1 MINUTE. We have kids. I can barely navigate to the website I'm after w/o being diverted by the kids' needs. Only to come back to the black screen and have to log in all over again. Thankfully the NUC boots up super fast. It's still a frustrating issue. The best solution I've found so far is to keep music playing, which counts as activity, and will then follow our screensaver and power settings. We mounted our NUC onto the wall using its included VESA mounting plate. Located behind the wall-mounted monitor, and using wireless keyboard and mouse, it looks very clean with power outlets hidden behind monitor as well. Very happy with our new home unit w/ minor gripes about the OS.

Great little computer. We basically purchased this as a hub solution for our TV. Works great, boots fast & surprised me how good the graphics are without a massive graphics card (to be fair, we aren't gamers so I'm not speaking to that). The processor is that good. For our Blue Ray, streaming & sound this little dynamo works like a charm. Planning on another version of NUC for our music recording studio.

Having done a lot of reading up on the NUC world, I was leery to make a purchase. I had built all of my desktops in the past and this was somewhat new yet familiar territory for me. I ordered one totally assembled and Tech Wizards through in an upgraded hard drive free of charge along with a very nice letter. 100% will order from them again if I have a NUC need or recommendation.

I wanted a current Intel CPU and went with a small memory and storage footprint. Swapped the 8Gb of memory for 32GB. Next month I'll swap the 250GB .M2 storage for a Samsung 1TB card. I could not be happier...Worked right out of the box!This little guy supports 3 4K monitors!Even comes with a plate to mount on the back of your monitor via the VESA mounting holes.My next computer will another NUC...
