These worked very well to repair a crib drop-down panel where the original spring-loaded latch arms broke (being plastic and the crib being rather old).These install easily and the spring feels like it will last for a long time. They're strong enough little hands can't pull them back enough to move them past the latch guard, but not so tight that big hands will find them hard to use.

This might be partially on me, but I found these to be not very sturdy. In my application they quickly bent one side open and then didn't hold anymore. The metal pin itself seemed strong enough for my application, it I stuck just the raw metal pin in, it was able to hold the lid of my container shut just fine. The spring and mounting bracket were definitely the weak part for me.. Had to order different, stronger spring latch pin.

Trying to displace all of the bad reviews, this product is actually the size labeled in the picture. It's very durable and works exactly as described. If you're concerned about size, please take a look at the dimensions in the product description, they're correct.

Great little latch, just what I needed. Well made, should last a long time.
