Great little Notebook
The notebook arrived and it looks brand new. A very tiny mark on the lid is the only thing I can see cosmetically wrong with it. Everything works fine and this will be ideal for use when I'm overseas to stay in touch and pay bills etc. The only other thing is the OS updated when I set it up, but can't be updated anymore it says. Will this be a problem ? i will wait and see.

Works great!
As far as I can tell, we do not see that this has touch screen capability but I am ok with that. The battery life is ok, minimal. I have my son do his work with it plugged in so he doesn't lose track of it and then lose his work.Overall, pretty pleased with it.

Great refurb. looked and worked like new.
Very basic unit, perfect for my 10-year-old. So much faster than my Intel.

Doesn’t stay connected to internet
I didn’t realize this product would be used. The cord was dirty. On top of that, the HP chrome books seem to have a problem staying connected to the internet, and don’t let you download any programs onto it. I bought a used Lenovo chrome book that works much better. My kids all said that the HP chrome books at school are the same and they hate them.

Better than what I expected
Great computer for the price. It is a 64 bit computer. The 3g isn't the latest version but it does have enough capabilities to play back movies, displaying books, and playing music. Very easy to setup to use right out of the box as long as you have a Google account.This is probably the best notebook computer I have ever owned to boot up right away when the power button goes on.If you need to connect to a Linux server using ssh, this will do the job.The battery life is excellent since there are only sold state components in the device. I can use it for up to 12 hrs without plugging it in.Windows remote desktop works with a paid app available.Even though these are marketed for security that doesn't mean you shouldn't use a VPN. Chromebooks have a specific way of using one. OpenVPN file format for Linux won't woek unless you convert it to a specific file format using Openssl.Recent updates to the Chrome operating system have allowed hotspot tethering as well as pairing with an Android phone since this post was started.

Wrong device and charger provided. Not impressed
Got this for my daughter for her birthday and it came with a charge cord that doesn’t even plug into this model and a different model then advertised.The charger provided isn’t even close to the same shape needed. And it’s past 30 days to return it.

Perfect weight
I dont think its touch screen , but is very nice and sturdy , good little size, just what I needed to write my book!
