For the price I could have purchased the real alloy toy to use as the cake toppers and a toy he could play with. These were something you might expect from a gumball machine. Extremely disappointed. I looked numerous sets of little construction vehicles before purchasing ,I would have been embarrassed to use for cake toppers and didnt. My 3 yo has a CAT brand set made of plastic that is a very nice quality toy,very cute approx same cost - I would recommend purchasing those or one of the many alloy sets of wanting to use as a cake topper and toy,this item is no good for either

My 4 year old son loves these. This is not just cake toppers, it is a set of construction vehicle toys. For each vehicle, the wheels and joins are movable.However I don't expect them to be very durable and small pieces / wheels could fall off, so I wouldn't suggest let kids under 3-year play with it. After all, these are meant to be cake toppers only.
